The second one is interesting. The way to win is to never check for monsters. What a fascinating concept for a horror game.

I like that Mark's natural reaction to someone rhyming at him is to rhyme back.

the concept that 'rinse and repeat' had is amazing. if i remember correctly there's this mythological phenomenon that if you fear something for long enough or be paranoid about something inherently 'bad' happening it will manifest into an enitity; you manifest what you fear. a game where the players actions: being paranoid, checking corners, etc would manifest their fear of something being there, real. it is so cool.

Mark running towards the mysterious man in the woods yelling "Scared Potter?!" made me choke on my coffee

The last one is so cool; it trains you to keep anyone out so you automatically do it properly the second time which ends up preventing the third character from escaping! Such an interesting concept, I wish Mark went back and showed us if you could escape

The fact that the missing guy's name was Rustin Peece 😭😭

“You are a wannabe aspiring reporter” really got me. They don’t want to be a reporter, but they do want to be an aspiring reporter 😅

Honestly, a game that gets scary only if the player thinks its already going to be scary and tries to prepare for it is a super cool concept and I would love to see it expanded

I don't know why, but whenever Mark says "Scared, Potter?" it cracks me up.

There's a secret ending in Go To Bed if in the second situation you don't lock anything but click "the house is secure" anyway! Anyway, I love 3 Scary Games and this was a really good one, kept me on the edge of my chair.

Mark was actually taken by surprise by that hand.. usually he has an automatic reaction to "content scream" but that sounded just like, him, getting frightened. That's rare!

That last game was pretty clever. It teaches you to lock everything up in the first level, and then in the second level you do it all again automatically, not knowing you're screwing yourself over later. Kind of wish Mark had done it again without locking up to see what happened. Also, normally those jumpscares at the beginning are just cheesy, but this one actually spooked me.

I like how the order of the games make it seem like a guy who took a job as a ranger, finally gets home after a long watch to take a shower and tries to go to bed.

I still can't believe this series has gone on for so long. I remember watching Markiplier since I was around 8, I don't quite remember how old I was when watched the first '3 Scary Games', but I do remember being so happy watching it. I can't believe I've been inactive for so long that I missed the 100th episode. Mark has done so much, scrolling through random games trying to find just the right one, and taking criticism so understandingly. Around the 70th part of 3 Scary Games, Mark had been receiving comments about his language. Nobody really even noticed, but he stopped. Mark does so much for all of us. And it's still such a shame to see that he made more money on onlyfans than he did on any charity stream. But besides my rambling, the point is just a thank you. A thank you for everything he's done for us!

The gas station segment of the first game HAS to have been inspired by Twin Peaks. The red curtains, the Agent Cooper looking dude drinking coffee, the cashier both resembling and speaking in rhymes like the Giant, and some other design details.

Out of any jumpscare opening, that one got me. The steps you hear before the scare comes create a quick sense of dread before it happens.
