Funfact: in the very first level you find the killer just after he had killed Larry and hid his body. So he was trying to get away from the crime scene when Larry's friend just so happened to find him. And he realized something was off when Larry didn't recognize him. Larry acted like he was a stranger and just kept ignoring him. Which is why the character continued to follow him.

The shot of the sunglasses guy with his pistol at 21:16 unironically goes so hard for absolutely no reason

I love this new series of “Markiplier plays game without introducing it or giving any context behind it”. Every day feels like an adventure

Another small detail that hints towards Larry being bad is the way he callously refers to cops with slang (despite being made out to be a straight laced good Samaritan) and his refusal to go to them for help despite threatening to call them on you. His eyes also rapidly dart back and forth at the previous crime scene. He also steals the red car from the Mall. He's also missing an earring, still has hair on his head, and has completely different teeth than in the photograph of Larry.

as someone who can't even recognise my family in a crowd this game is absolute hell. I've already forgotten what Larry looks like

I just realized the original Larry, the good one from the newspaper, has an earring on his left ear that the murderer doesnt. 2nd time I've watched a playthrough of this and noticed a lot more

The fact that Larry got shot by a .50 cal sniper rifle and fell from a several story drop and SURVIVED just goes to show how much of a menace he his.

Willy Mack is almost definitely some form of spirit, the guy is able of perfectly preserving and wearing skin, soaks bullets like water and survived a fall from that height, not to mention that the black figures were likely the spirit of his victims as theres the exact same numbers as the report

Going from the high angle perspective, able to see everything, to being down on the ground needing to run away really upped the fear factor for me! Being chased is my #1 big creepy feeling.

Bro I legit thought “yep, classic story of npc getting progressively more and more weirded out by the player character until they go crazy” right until the end, insane twist

Honestly the fact that a Where’s Waldo horror game could actually be pretty deep with its story and lore shows that the person making there horror games are truly talented.

I find it funny that all those guys around Larry at the end did absolutely nothing to help their Leader take down the guy. "Oh he is losing? Nah not doing anything."

It would be amazing if this creator and Meat Canyon did a colab or battle or characters. Love both of their designs.

YES! I was hoping Mark would play this. I hope we get to see more weird and unique horror games on here like “No Delivery”, “Sorry We’re Open” and “No one Lives Under the Lighthouse”

Honestly what's more fun to me is finding the guy in the red hat since he's in every single map until he reveals himself.

i LOVE the details in larry's sprites. his face is so much looser than everyone else's, and his gums are detached from his lips, sure, but my favorite is the frame at 17:32, because you can clearly see an old, rotting skeleton underneath his sweater and behind his nostrils

Marks laugh at 11:24 is genuinely more evil than the guy with the glasses' laugh, but at the same time sillier

14:55 if u look at his neck it looks like two diffrent skin tones and it kinda looks like skin flap as if he were wearing a type of mask which he is wearing Larry's face

The fact that at 2:15 where he says it looks like there's a second face the longer you stare is funny when you know the plot twist at the end of the game.

The way Markiplier is so casual no matter how weird the game gets is impressive

You can literally see the small bits of blood and flesh around the eye sockets and mouth, even in multiple close ups of Larry his mouth literally droops down.

I wish they would have done more with the pov part, it was so unexpected but obviously a scripted death. 2 endings there would have made it an amazing experience to watch!

I like that not only is the twist that he stole your friend's face - the crime scene you see once was the dead friend.

you can see glasses guy show up right when the setting switches from forest to town, disappear when the puzzles have only one kind of guy with sunglasses and suits, and reappear again at the mall. and this is before he's revealed to be important. cool touch! shows he's also trying to follow larry, and that since at times he loses larry, it shows that your character is better at finding than he is

i love games that start off with a much lighter story but then as you progress it starts to slowly take on a much darker tone

the fact that mark played a game about being stalked and then a few days later played a game about stalking someone

Is Larry also the weatherman at the end? He says something like "It's going to be a beautiful day folks!" And Larry in the first few 'finds' says that "it's a beautiful day isn't it?" And the face looks kinda droppy, maybe a mask? I dunno just something I noticed. Edit: Also why would the game end on him if he wasn't slightly important?

I keep returning to this video, the overall implications of this whole game are SO interesting to me! Props to the creator!

These devs are good. Night of the consumers had completely different mechanics and yet they have kept the same type of ironic/dark writing with this project.

the laugh that the guy did at 11:22 is the slowed down version of the baby laughing when the mom loses it in night of the comsumers.

The night of the consumers dev’s style is so known and unique, I immediately knew it was that dude. Really good stuff I can’t wait to see more from them.

It was a brilliant idea to have Lixian be effectively an imaginary friend that Mark calls on to do various things, and that the real Lixian can just add in whatever, in production. It's really some of the best bits in the show.
