For context, the “No-Snake Hotel” game was made for a friend of the dev that is extremely scared of snakes and just wanted to scare the living hell out of him

Mark “Amanda The Adventuerer” is being constantly updated and has a ton of secrets.. when they’re all released definitely revisited it

Why is literally nobody talking about the first game, that was ducking hilarious. The tension slowly being built up before the jump scare is too good “You’re all alone” “GOD I WISH”

It’s funny how Buff Doge manages to scare Mark more than the entirety of Security Breach

Now that the new Amanda the adventurer game is out I think I understand what’s so unnerving about it. When I was younger, I was so scared of movies that asked for answers when you were listening, it would stop and you would need to click something, it was often in the second CD coming with the movie, like extra games and such. I found it unnerving that something in a CD or DVD could be influenced or could listen to me and be almost like alive. I would cry when it would pause and need me to click something because I was scared it would get impatient and be hostile just like Amanda is. It traumatised me a little bit when I was left alone at home for a few minutes with a movie like this and I felt like the presence the TV had was watching/listening to me. Maybe I was alone with that feeling but it’s always made me cringe up to this day.

I love how when a video game character tells Mark to say Apple his first instinct is to type “fucku”😂

The "no-snake hotel" thing would've been hillarious if there was EVERYTHING WRONG except snakes. Demons, spiders, murderers, ghosts. But no snakes.

2:46 the gradual increase in volume of the ambience music lined up perfectly with a really loud and approaching plane outside that flew overhead and I was losing my s h i t progressively panicking at the noise _too loud to be coming from the game_ Also the monkey's teleportation skills remind me of that one sherlock game (i think it was) where Watson basically snuck up on the player when they weren't looking and was just a really unintentionally creepy glitch

The No-Snake Hotel is the funniest concept to me though. Can you imagine if Hotels just claimed things completely out of the box like that? And left positive reviews just on tables?

To think that a horror game called “no snake hotel” would have snakes in it? Probably the most unexpected plot twist ever.

My favourite thing about Buff Doge and Buff Imposter is that Mark said "Scared, Potter?" in both gameplays.

The Monkey is basically a talking version of SCP 650. The mannequin that follows you everywhere and sporadically pops up.

Fun fact: Researchers really did turn a cat into a telephone. They hooked up a speaker to a cat's auditory nerve, and while one guy spoke into the cat's ear, another guy listened in a sound proof room. They discovered that the auditory system is the only one in the body that transmits proportionally based on stimulus frequency. The louder the sound, the louder the output from the nerve. It doesn't work for the other senses. I do feel bad for the poor cat though, they did horrible things to it.

I love how that snake hotel game took *24* hours to complete it

When he was reading the note with the spooky snake noise I thought to myself "He's going to turn around and there's going to be a huge snake like weaving at him. It would be cooler if they had some destruction physics to go with it to really sell it." Then he went down the hall... and the reat is history. I never guessed something so accurately in my life XD

Markiplier: Horror games are terrifying.” Also Mark: Might realize soon that is intros could possibly be even more scarier than any horror game also having lore.

For the second game, it would have been hilarious and scary if the hotel's monster was actually something like a serial killer or werewolf and the end is like "well at least it wasnt snakes"

The first game, the monkey isn’t wrong. “Wever and Bray took an unconscious, but alive, cat and transformed it into a working telephone to test how sound is perceived by the auditory nerve.” It’s a real thing. A cat telephone.

I thought "No Snake Hotel" would be filled with EVERY OTHER animal or phobia, but at the end it goes "But no snakes! We delivered!"

as someone who regularly catches snakes, I'd never be caught dead staying at a place that advertises itself as snake free.... But after watching said video I have already booked my room and am looking forward to my holiday.

I love how half the time Monkey Thing is absolutely creepy, and the other half is just "I'm a helicopter" and cracking Yo Mama jokes

Coming back and seeing No-Snake Hotel here with an advertisement for the upcoming Choo Choo Charles is amazing. People had no clue at the time how much that game was going to blow up, but you can tell they already had an excellent sense of humor with the Nope Rope Roadside Dive.

The No Snake Hotel has to be Indiana Jone's worst nightmare.

After watching a few playthroughs of Choo Choo Charles, I could definitely see the dev being the type of person who’d make an entire game solely just to fuck with their friends
