Thanks! For the long exposure shot (especially the light trails one) try night mode. You can get 10secs hand-held or up to 30 if you use a tripod.

Another way to get long exposure is in interrupt Night mode photos. After you tap the shutter to take the picture, tap it again before the Night mode finishes the shot. You will get light trails. I tried it as an experiment at a Luau in Hawaii and the results were incredible. I was able to capture rings of fire when the fire dancers moved. You have to remain very still but it's doable with practice.

Did you know that there is no need to press and hold the shutter button in panorama mode? You only have to press it like when you take a picture normally 😉 You’re welcome 😊

Thank you for your kind words! To transfer videos and photos from your iPhone to your laptop, simply connect your iPhone to your laptop using a USB cable. Then, open the Photos app on your laptop, select “Import,” and choose the files you want to transfer. :)

Vertical panorama is cool but the Horizontal Panorama is difficult since our hands tend to shake a bit and iPhone able to absorb those shakes while taking a Vertical Panorama but not the Horizontal panorama

Thank you for the interesting video. When I choose the portrat mode for the blurring effect then I am always shown a frame with the title "No person visible". The frame stays at the same position and I cannot focus anywhere. What is going wrong here?

If you’re having trouble with portrait mode on your iPhone, try these steps: -Update Your Software: Make sure your device is running the latest software version. -Restart Your Phone: Sometimes a simple restart can work wonders. -Good Lighting Matters: Ensure you’re in a well-lit environment. -Clean Your Camera Lens: Smudges can affect photo quality. -Toggle Portrait Mode On/Off: Reset the mode by turning it off and then on again. Hope this helps!

I absolutely HATE the live photo feature. Can anyone tell me how to permanently block or remove it? And I do not mean "remember settings" and then turning off "live photo*. I want it gone permanently...
@iPhone_Photography_School

No problem! Go to Settings. Tap Camera > Preserve Settings and make sure that the switch next to Live Photo is turned on. :)

@@iPhone_Photography_School I've done that and it keeps turning back on. I would like it completely removed or locked down so incidental contact can't change it.

What do you think about added lenses to your iPhone ? Worth it ? Or just more junk to carry around and spend money on ?
@iPhone_Photography_School
@iPhone_Photography_School 3 месяца назад
It depends on your photography goals. If you’re passionate about mobile photography and willing to invest, additional lenses can elevate your iPhone camera experience. However, if simplicity and portability matter most, sticking with the built-in camera might be the way to go.

I like the video but I must say, that I wouldn’t want to be the person in the horizontal panoramic shot. Perhaps this is the reason why you didn’t show it very long. And another thing… the building in both panorama shots didn’t look any natural because of the “bending”. You shouldn’t give these shots as a recommendation for panorama mode.
@christopherecatalano
@christopherecatalano Месяц назад
That kind of curvature is inherent in any kind of extreme panoramic process. A vertical shot like that would be next to impossible to correct because the capture itself would likely present weird straightening artifacts that would look even less natural. It is a creative effect, using a lens not designed for attenuating extreme barrel distortion. For that, you are looking at a huge, very, very expensive aspherical ultra wide angle lens that corrects such massive curvature (to varying degrees) in the shot. Try using this in a creative way. Expecting naturalistic looks with such an extreme process will surely disappoint you. These phones can do close to miraculous things, but only within reason.

Please try Android phone. It can take much better photos than iPhone. For portrait and panorama mode, it can do the same as iPhone. But for long exposure, it does much much better than iPhone because it has a manual mode. You can set the time up to 30 seconds. So the result is the same as a professional camera. Not like a fake long exposure on iPhone.
