Wow. It's been almost 2 years since my knee replacement. I've had about 5 months of physical therapy 3 X week. AND NONE of it fixed my balance and gait. I did some exercises designed for that, but they only improved my balance slightly. As time goes by, my balance is getting worse and worse. THESE exercises are going to help tremendously. I can tell just by watching. These specifics are what's wrong. Thank you so so much. God bless you!
This is good I feel no problem walking around house but outside my knee feels strange. This video made me feel more confident I am 2and half months post op
Just watched your “3 exercises after tkr walking” video. Thank you for addressing this ... I had my surgery 8 months ago and I’ve now developed plantar faciitis in my non surgical foot. I feel like it’s because my stride is compromised but I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong or how to correct it. Any ideas?
Hey Jeanne, it is possible there are different stresses going through your body due to walking a little differently leading to the plantar fasciitis. Check out some other videos in the walking playlist to learn some tricks to help improve your walking: ru-vid.com/group/PLmjdDYgvJ_hVpTFlf9--shRs_UQNNh2_e Also, heel raises either from the ground or from a step a helpful for plantar fasciitis symptoms
I Use these same exercises for gait training recently had surgery on my tailbone my sacrum had a fracture and my pelvis dislocated..from a bad car accident
These exercises may help after ankle surgery, but be sure to follow the specific instructions from your doctor including any precautions or activities / exercises to avoid.
