Also here growing up we wore our Halloween costumes like you guys aaand we also had to wear snow boots, and winter coats over our gowns and carry our heels to prom in, yes, bleepin’ May!! That toque is too clever and cute!! The snowflake tiles are so cool, clever, and easy to do. You rocked that! The beaded snow garland is the grand champion of the day! Wowzerz!! Tuque was the very first word that my Canadian son-in-law had me saying (in place of toboggan) when he & my daughter first started dating. My son-in-law is Croatian on his mother's side & Italian on his father's side and although he doesn't speak fluent Croatian he does use several Croatian words & phrases. So you keep on calling a decal a "deckle" if that's your jam!!! As they say "you do you boo"! 💙 from NC! I'm a Southern Girl and we have our own language also, all said (especially in my case" with a slow southern drawl!

Easy way to paint the beads is put them in a ziplock baggie with the paint zip it up and use the bag to paint the beads

How funny, DECAL, never heard your pronunciation before and I was married to a Canadian guy and lived there for a bit. Loved living there. The people were always so kind and sweet. Gteat DIYs, love that toque, just looked up that spelling. Too hard to pick one.

My husband is from the south and he calls it a toboggan (which I always knew as a type of sled), so it's been interesting learning the regional names. Thanks for sharing! ♥
