As a wise man once said, "most of the time someone breaks into your house while thinking you aren't home, they came to steal things, and if they break in with the knowledge you are inside, they've come to harm you." This isn't always the case, but it has some truth.
Another wise man (former navy seal being interviewed) said that "If they come in the morning they're there for your stuff. If they're there at night, they are there for you."
For a minute, I was worried Emily had been killed/kidnapped when the texts ended....felt real stupid after remembering that Emily was the one who sent in the screenshots and stories 😂
Major props to Emily for keeping her cool and checking in with all her family members. She did a great job holding it all together until the police came. She might have been too terrified to text, but she made sure she did everything right first.
Whoever is reading this, I wanted to say I hope you have a great day and that God loves you so much that He sent His son, Jesus, to die on a cross for your sins and He rose again from the dead three days later. God Bless! And also, He doesn't want you to go to Hell, but He wants you to go to Heaven with Him but you have to be Saved. How do I get Saved you might ask? Here are the steps below on how to get Saved! 1. Believe that God sent His Son (Jesus) to die on a cross for your sins and that He rose again from the dead 3 days later. 2. Confess to Jesus that you are a sinner and ask forgiveness for your sins and Turn away from your sins. If you sin again after asking forgiveness of that sin, ask forgiveness again and try not to do it ever again. Jesus will forgive you! 3. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and your life and for Him to be your Lord and Savior forever. 4. Build a Personal Relationship with Jesus by Praying and Reading the Bible daily and Live for Him Forever. I'm Praying for you and you are loved (Romans 10:9-13))
This is why I roll my eyes when I hear “We lived in a neighborhood that was so safe we kept our doors unlocked.” NO NEIGHBORHOOD IS SAFE ENOUGH TO DO THAT. Idk how anyone can sleep with their doors unlocked and no curtains on their windows. At least put up a cloth with nails or thumb tacks. Your safety is far more important.
A kna, like I live with my mam in a fairly safe estate. I always check both doors are locked and the back gate. Recently there was a whole thing, from 10:55 pm, a bunch of teens were smashing up someone’s house a few houses up from mine, when one of the old men came out they said “we’re smashing h her house up because she’s a slut” they left, the owner of the house came back screaming that’s she’s gonna kill them. The owner has a dog toy voice it’s propa squeaky, my mam slept through all of this, until the teens came back around midnight and smashed it up again. The whole street was up and outside. Within a hour people were fighting, the neighbours house was smashed with plant pots, this bloke was ramming himself against their doors *(both the lass and her neighbours)* it took the police around twenty minutes to arrive, once they came the people fled. Buy for another 30 minutes you heard soy toy squeaking at my neighbours house at 1:20 am. While I’m too scared to have my lamp on, so I’m using my phones flashlight to read. It’s a really quiet and safe estate, but shit like this happens around once every eight years.
Even if you could know everyone there was safe there’s still Some people from out of will drive through nicer neighborhoods knowing that the people are less likely to be worried about locking doors and just go around checking. It has happened to us before once. Very safe neighborhood, this was the only incident that ever happened, but imagine if we hadn’t locked our cars and door.
Something like this could’ve happened to me with the first story. We are moving so my parents put up the house for sale and we’ll move out in June. One time someone scheduled an agent viewing (when the agent comes first before bringing the clients to check out the house) this meant we didn’t have to leave so my mom and I stayed in the basement. When he first arrived there were 3 other people with him a couple and a girl (I only saw the couple and the guy walk in since the other girl came in later) this was the first red flag. when they came into the basement my mom noticed the other girl who had walked in wasn’t in the basement. After they had left we heard a noise coming from upstairs so my mom decided to grab a charger as an excuse to see what was going on. The agent was on a phone call downstairs and looked surprised to see my mom. Then she went upstairs to find the girl taking pictures of our master bedroom, my mom asked what she was doing and she responded “Oh, this is just stuff for tiktok.” Which sounded really weird because who does that? We think they were taking pictures of the house to come back and steal and the guy was standing guard since he talked really loudly to let the girl know what was happening when talking to my mom and kept looking upstairs nervously. A few days after that situation we were going on a trip to Florida and brought all our valuables and prescription medicines just in case. Luckily they never came back, but it’s kinda a freaky coincidence that these stories could have been the same outcome. Plus my name is actually Emily too which is why I got chills when hearing this story. That might’ve been the longest comment I’ve written ever, congrats if you read all of it
I like how after each story this guy is reminding everyone “oh remember to lock your door” and just giving good advice so people will stay safe. Good on you man
Every Christmas we put up a paper saying "don't even think about stealing anything, we're watching you" Which is true because I'm always looking out the window. But its supposed to imply we have cameras, which we didn't for a while.

I apparently scared the crap out of my friend once when I was home alone at my Nana's house. I currently live with my Nana, and my friend lives three states away. Anyway. I was texting her, sending memes and catching her up on what I'd done during the week and vice versa, but as we were talking I heard scratching on one of the doors. I instantly grabbed my knife (Big knife that I keep in my bedside drawer) and stood up. My friend got worried when I stopped texting and started asking if I was okay. I told her I heard scratching on a door inside the house, and she immediately started freaking out and trying to call. When my phone went off, the scratching got louder and I started to panic as well. I slowly snuck out of my room and went to find where the sound was coming from (Stupid I know) and I found out it was coming from my aunt's room. I slowly opened the door and raised my knife for a line one strike when- My dachshund ran out of the room past me and ran to the back door to go potty. I just closed the door and let my friend know the dog was stuck in one of the rooms and was trying to get out. Still scared the shit out of me and my friend though
@@soldierofgod4210 I always keep my martial arts weapons at my bedside, and if those aren't at my bedside, I always keep my knife on my desk no matter what
You guys have weapons? I live in a flat full of old people and everyone minds their own buissness so my flat is probably the last thing a robber wants to go-
My routine if someone broke into my house: Step 1: Strip down all the way to my underwear Step 2: find my old Bart Simpson Mask Step 3: ask my google home to play Despacito Step 4: observe as they hotfoot out faster than the speed of light
I have a horror story of my own. (Actually happened to me a few month ago) I was in a small RU-vid live when I saw someone in my window well watching me. I ran to hide and locked myself in our safe room. They started banging on the window. I texted my mom and she called the cops. I didn’t come out till I heard sirens and the police searched the house. They couldn’t find him and I haven’t seen him since. I dunno if it was some random creep trying to break in and was waiting till I left, if he was just a creeper, or maybe he was some kind of killer but that’s unlikely hahaha. All jokes aside these are seriously traumatic experiences. I think about it a lot of the time. I’m already a pretty nervous person but I’m constantly on edge that I may be getting stalked now.
@@Ermwhattheflip1 it’s a super small creator that I’m personally friends with. They have under 500 subs and didn’t upload the live at my request. I left the live after I got into the safe room.
I live in a very rural area. Some people don’t lock their doors because if someone goes out of their way to come they’re not going to be stopped by a locked door. One of my friends corn fields and woods surrounding their house was searched by cops once because there was suspicion of a body. They found it. Be safe y’all
My theory is that the police would’ve advised the parents to stay out until police had cleared them to go in. They could’ve been quite far away too. I agree with you though I thought the same at first.
Never thought I'd be so thankful to be an introvert. Oh sure, they call us paranoid and weird, but when the fit hits the shan, we're the ones who are most prepared!
Omg girl if u like scary stories check out RezTKF his channel is amazing an his voice is perfect for horror narration I been binging all quarantine haha 💯😺👍
It could be because the story sounds like it’s a retelling instead of a recounting. If someone is recounting a personal story you know that they came out of the situation okay. If someone else is telling the story, it seems like someone telling a true crime case where the person died or something
"3 text conversations that seem normal on the surface but have deeper creepier backstories". Normal text conversation: "Mom someone has broken into the house" The deeper creepier backstory: "Someone had broken into the house"
I break into my daughter's room once a week and slap her with my weaner just to keep her on alert incase some weirdo breaks into her room one day. Bless single fathers
I havr a lil window by mu shower top left corner and it always has a creak i cant see anything through it it leads into a sorta staircase and im scared someone is watching me through the window thats in my top 5 worst fears
That first story hit home. When I was 18 my parents went on vacation and I was watching the house. I came home late from work and the house was extremely hot and it was a 100 degree nights. When I went into my parents bedroom I found their window open so I immediately grabbed my double barrel shotgun loaded 2 shells and began sweeping every possible area where someone could hide. My Jack Russell started barking uncontrollably because he knows how loud a gun is but smelled the fear in me and remained quiet but followed me in every area until I determined it was all clear. I called my parents and told them what happened and asked if anything was missing and told them no. So I was guessing when the person opened the window my dog let out a large aggressive bark and scared them off. Needless to say I make sure everything is locked but I slept with my shot gun for the rest of the week cuz you never know.
Don't hide in the closet.. imagine this for a sec, you're an intruder who's looking for someone, so where are you gonna look first? The closets are the obvious choice
Lock door Grab most painful weapon call 911 Call strong friend to help catch him if he’s banging the door open barricade the door with anything heavy Start trying the threat the intruder (If) the intruder is threatened wear the most scary mask you have in your room and a hoodie Make sure the police is out and say he can leave Boom he’s caught and nobody is harmed
As an American i dont understand either... proabbly because a large portion of the us is safe so people just dont lock it i live in a safe place but i still lock my door lol
I'm American and have always locked my doors. It's weird, though, because everyone I know is either just as vigilant about keeping things locked, or refuses to lock anything EVER. I know one woman who refuses to lock her house or car doors to the point that she gets mad whenever someone else does lock it. She straight up said, "I don't like locked doors! If I ever get robbed, that's on me!" I didn't even know how to respond to that "logic," lol.
@@benjaminhubert4913 US safe???😂😂😂 If it was safe why don't you use km/h instead of mass shootings per gun owners or football fields per hamburgers eaten, FrEeDom babyyyyyyy
We can't say this. Maybe last person luring her out from home and maybe he would have planned to call her on isolate place where he could do anything with her.
@@nsasupporter7557 if he would have called to male member of the house, i could think of him robbing the house. But when it comes to female member, there is chance where he could think of other than robbing. Look at this way, she called 911, cop searched every where in her house but couldn't find any entry of intruder or any evidence where they could say that intruder was in there home.
@@chunkypandeynet6443 It wouldn’t really make sense if the intruder was trying to lure her to a different location to harm her, because he was already in the house. If his plan was to assault and/or rape her, then he could have done it in the house. It sounded like he was just trying to lure her away so he could rob the house while she was gone.
If you’ll let me get a few non blurry pictures of you and some hair samples, we’ll split the cash. You can buy all the shampoo and toilet paper you’d ever need. Just think about it.

I’d never give my personal information to someone through a text message. Not even if it’s a person that’s close to me. You never know who is on the other side of the screen.
What's scary is so many young people are so ingrained with texting it's nothing to them to share private info thinking they know who they're "talking" to. And before all you young'uns jump all over my comment...I know it's not everyone.
Yeah that was wtf. Like if common sense is alien to you and you keep talking to just absolute rando then at least meet someone for the first time in a more or less crowded establishment.
I live in probably one of the nicest neighborhoods ever. All the neighbors trust each other, are hospitable, close friends, etc. etc., and we STILL keep our doors locked 24/7. It amazes me that people would keep their doors unlocked when home alone.
This is the only time where a parent telling thier child to "stay in the closet" is acceptable lol. Jokes aside...despite the problems texting can cause...its good to know it can also save lives.
The first story is why I have a crimsafe door. Ive already had an attempted home invasion at 3am in the morning. The security door saved me... and stopped them from being able to kick the door in. They guy trying to force his way in left injured...
I now tend to take these stories with a grain of salt, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still learn something from them, and it doesn’t make them any less chilling to hear.
Lmfao honestly fuck a grain of salt if something can literally save your life… lock your doors.. have 2 factor authentication on all camera devices esp if theyre inside the house.. if your state allows it, protect yourself.. unfortunately in Canada all we can do is hope we dont get killed or charged for unreasonable force when some breaks into OUR homes
The first story got me like: MAN F THIS THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I HATE BEING ALONE IN THE HOUSE!!- This is why i know I won't last a f ing day as an adult in my own house

Dont know why all these people replying don’t believe you. If I saw a random person standing outside my house after learning it’s not who I thought it was, I wouldn’t think it’s too far fetched to shoot them either
For the last one: Moral of the story: Put a password of you phone also put security locks on your WhatsApp or any app that you text your relatives with and also make sure to answer your mom's of dad's phone if they are calling you it might be something serious stay safe everyone!🙃
I don't understand how this guy never mispronounces a word or stutters or anything like that when making these. If that was me, I would have messed up a billion times and mispronounced everyone's names lol.

Some people said editing, which is most likely true, although when he's telling stories from other people I'm pretty sure he's reading the story in like a script or something. That's just my thought.
A lot of these stories seem to happen because people forget or even choose not to lock up It doesn't matter how safe your neighborhood is, you should always lock the doors and windows and close the blinds/curtains If you're just forgetful, then make reminders for yourself. I have an app called Reminders on my phone; I don't know about iPhones, but they probably have the same thing If you don't have any electronics, use a notepad, whiteboard, whatever you can write on And always remember to have at least two weapons on you; one for long range one for close combat

She gave lots of her time in confirming whether they are their family member. When she realised he is not. She quickly locked her door from inside. And went straight to her mom in chat and verified her she is with intruder. I mean she didnt get a time and the best thing she did was remained silent so that intruder might be confused that in other side of the door there might be man handling something in hand, ready to hit him with that so thatswhy intruder gave up easily. If intruder would have knew that there is defenceless girl hiding in her closet. Maybe he would have broken the door and could have harmed her.
1:23 I know that this is a scary story and I should be focused on the girl in the middle of a break in but damn that room looks comfy as fuck like I know it’s most likely a stock photo and has nothing to do with the story but damn I wanna sleep in that shit
