One of the best things about this franchise has always been that the protagonist(s) in most of the movies walks the line between villain and anti hero. I’m reminded of a quote I heard about Star Wars when I was studying screenwriting. “Heroes on both sides.” The same character can be a hero in one story arc and a villain in another one.

in the drawing, he was drawing the trap “The Rack” which is in Saw III. No wonder why it’s Saw 1 -> Saw X -> Saw 2, and he also died in Saw III so it finally made sense.

@@MINOS_PRIME-JUDGEMENT-yeah Saw X is after Saw 1 but before Saw 2. U can tell because shortly after Saw 1 Amanda cut her hair. She was nearly bald. Then in Saw X we see her with hair that is still pretty short. In Saw 2 her hair is a little longer, Then obviously in Saw 3, she had long hair again.

What is the Correct order, bc I just saw Saw X last night, and it was the first Saw movie I’ve ever seen bc of how young I was when all the other ones came out, so now I want to go back and watch the others, but I’d like to watch them in chronological order, based on the events.

I’ll agree that Tobin Bell is the heart of the franchise but Costas Mandylor (Hoffman) did a great job I thought and if you watch interview of him he loves the franchise and the fans. Cool dude 😎

@@mask938 exactly. Even some of the minor characters in the traps do a solid job. Saw II is probably my favourite in terms of acting. We get more exploration into Johns characterisation through Tobin bells great acting. The game in the house was also done great. The conflict between all these characters was so convincing and never felt forced. I think the actor for Xavier was particularly good.

Gabriela was not the one that referred him. She claimed to be a previous patient of the cancer treatment. However, she is later found to be in on the scam. The guy that referred him was a man named "Henry". John does kill Henry, however this was only in the post-credits
