They butchered the entire storyline of the decades like for example optimus was an archivist and he had a cog sentinel has zeta primes design and sword of live action sentinel another thing zeta prime and sentinel in the original are the same entity also zeta is nothing they then proceeded to make him more superior to prima the actual first prime the whole cog thing feels like a gimmick for a quick toy cash grab Orion paxes was also upper class well middle and worked for alpha trion he found out about megatron and supported his cause for equal rights and helped him until the high council who had the matrix for the next prime after alpha trion decided between megatron and optimus because megatron was vengeful but prime was hopeful and after that megatron turned on him I don't think this is close to the movie at all and another detail the primes politics of megatronus his love for power and solus prime AND WHERE WAS SHE IN THE MOVIE it's a movie made for kids it's a cash grab and the bayverse was something different it wasn't trying to reshape the transformers history but this movie is just a cash grab and making the movie kid friendly without those details we love the movie itself was okay but for a series with one of the most honored legacies you can't just change it like this

@@jokaaff4477 ik it's like you would prefer this over the archivist but that is the explanation to why he knows so much about the history of the planet and logs names of said decepticon and Autobot ships for example there was an old decepticon ship in tfp that was infected with a plague only megatron knows the cure too and the iaacon database was a key changing point in the story because alpha trion sent the relics of the primes away and added coordinates in the database side note alpha trions design is another primes design more specificaly alchemist prime and alpha trions original design I think looks cooleron top of the knowledge given by the matrix and the entire way he became a prime was because alpha trion supported him cuz megatron just wants to kill them for exploiting and optimus is Megatrons friend and practically like a leader and star scream was not a high guard he was a seeker commander in my opinion that's better and soundwave has always been undeniably loyal in g1 and tfp he's Megatrons most trusted associate and the coldest one is probably shockwave he didn't have much of a screen time in the movies but the shows he did are practically ruled by him and his power aka tfp and it's sequels

The movie was confirmed that it would be part of a trilogy, so maybe in the final movie they might have Peter Cullen cameo Optimus Prime's final transformation into the battle-hardened warrior we know him as.

I get where you’re coming from but comics have generally always been flexible to new material and since transformers was first a comic this holds up. It’s like how the mcu changes a bunch of characters origins but if the new story is cool then it’s fine since now we have 2 good origins(fully aware that the mcu is pretty inconsistent with bad vs good stories ). Give it another shot sometime and just try to judge the movie for what it is and not what it missed from the originals.

It’s not new (technically), they took inspiration from the original cartoon (g1) for their backstories, just changed it a little bit

It was good although it's a cash grab as the entire story is butchered and terrible and can't be considered anything but a cash grab like the cogs seriously the entire transformers timeline forgot to mention they butchered the ammount of primes the story of Megatronus being evil sentinel and zeta are literally the same character in all other stories and zeta prime having the matrix over prima the first damn prime his name is prima is crazy and lastly there was no solus prime the story was butchered altered made kid friendly for a cash grab I recommend you to watch the movies if you liked action packed with details

@@Dblsweat-r2w the movie is yes good but there was no need to alter the entire storyline of decades like the cog is obviously a gimmick for toys they are now implementing that cogs are individually superior and different when that's not true in any iteration Im saying the movie was good but it was a setup for a new generation because transformers was flipping for example earth spark gained no attention and it was clearly a desperate attempt for more kid friendly shows than the story we love and the emotions the deepness of the movies such as sentinels betrayal and his regret before dying hell the reboot was good but no they wanted more kid friendly the fact that the movie has no soul or originality makes the motive clearn alpha trions design was just a redesigned head of alchemist and the head didn't even have his iconic beard the details show the dedication you can't just sign a bunch of famous actors like Minecraft did and rewrite the pillar of the transformers aka the gladiator Megatrons revolution the most important part of cybertronian history and the matrix doesnt have any divine powers bring Cybertron back to life that's the allspark the matrix is the wisdom and power of the primes it's a good movie but it wasn't made with dedication and it was clearly meant to set the stone for the you get Audience because sadly we have all grown up and they decided to recreate the entire storyline but the fact that they atleast can't get the design right and reuse things as simple as names pissed me off I rate the movie 9/10 if you leave the blatant laziness and making the entire storylines deep meaning into a kid friendly franchise

Its not connected to any live action movies. Him saying that is wishful thinking. -Sentinel dies in this movie, so already it rules out the bayverse, alongside the matrix of leadership being designed as it has been in almost every single continuity its been shown in, and its not hidden away on earth like the bayverse matrix. -Bumblebees design does not match knightverse or bayverse design. -Both knightverse and bayverse just refuses to acknowledge Primus’ existence. Its been hinted in bayverse, but Optimus Prime refers Unicron as Cybertrons ancient enemy and not Primus’ ancient enemy knowing that Primus is Cybertron.

@@braylenramsey8857 Yeah, there's one producer named Lorenzo di Bonaventura who keeps insisting all of the movies are connected, which has been causing a lot of confusion, but the director of this film has confirmed that it is not connected to any of the other films

@@ultimate11_warrior I feel like this movie can best connect with a bumblebee and ROTB cause the only backstory that we saw in bumblebee was just the beginning clip on Cybertron so I really hope in the third movie they re-create that exact clip and that would be the ending of the movie

Heck. It's impossible to reconcile this film with other continuities. The Fallen is dead. Zeta Prime is one of the 13 and a separate character from Sentinel Prime. You get the idea.
