I recently went snorkeling at Lauderdale by the sea in Florida. This is a really great place for beginner snorkelers to check out the coral reefs in the area.
I found that the first couple times I went there I was unsure of how far out to swim and didn't have a great experience the first couple times because of it. So I put this video together to help people understand where to swim to find the fish and coral that they want. We saw puffer fish, box fish, angel fish, eels, and tons more.

Snorkeled there today. Water was crystal clear from the first inch of water all the way out to the reefs

Great video! I live in Miami, have been there a few times. Since last year's hurricane, the pier got damaged, so no fishing until they fix it. You can snorkel around the pier, and there's tons of fish to see.

It’s actually just north of Ft. Lauderdale and just south of Pompano. Miami is way south.

Freediving and scuba diving are my passion. I have been looking beaches where I can shoredive 30 feet deep in South Florida. How far would I have to swim out to reach 30 feet deep in Lauderdale by the sea?

@@theodorecleaver NO, if you were his boyfriend, you'd be in some of his videos and he'd probably say "Theodore Cleaver is my boyfriend" in his youtube bio. But it doesn't. It doesn't say anything about any significant others which means that smokin hot man is SINGLE and ready to mingle. My sunglasses could go great with his bandana. We're practically already a couple. I wonder if he wants me to be in some videos. Maybe we could go out on a date to the beach and he could teach me how to surf. I think he's going to message me about setting up a date tomorrow.
