I'm a custodian at a high school and I second the cleaning part. Every summer, us custodians cram into busses and clean them too to bottom and it always looks like we never touched anything after we're done and it is majorly disappointing.

I remember back in elementary school riding the bus. There was this one huge bump on our route and every time the kids on the back would fly out of their seats.
I feel you on the “rides like a tank” part my driver goes over the big speed bumps at my house at like 25 mph and the bus gets air in the rear every time
The suspension thing is for real!, here in Mexico there are a lot of bumps and when the bus passes over them you could swear you are at a rollercoaster

Suspension? What suspension? Jokes aside, get ready for a story: When I used to ride in a school bus (before covid) the thing I hated most was the kids. There was this one guy that would litteraly throw rocks at the bus driver, WHILE HE WAS DRIVING. He almost broke the windsheild once. He also threw someone's phone out the window while the bus was driving. Me and a bunch of other people recorded him doing this stuf and reportes him. He got suspended for 1 day. ONE DAY! THATS IT?!?! AND HE KEPT DOING IT EVEN AFTER! we didnt really like the bus driver because he yelled a lot, and would get mad at people for being 10 seconds late but would be late all the time. Once I had to wait 40 minutes, for the bus. but the bus driver did not deserve to be hit in the head with rocks!
See , in the scho i went to there was a generation called gen x, they burned 3 busses ... They did some crazy stuff in those busses, until hanz came (not his real name) , hanz was from the same town i went to school but he worked in germany as a policeman , but he was in the special police forces , so he was not to be messed with, but they didn't know it since he just started working , they started doing the same shit they did every day until than , and than hanz stoped the bus , got up , went to the back of the bus and slapped this shit out of the biggest guy, than he went for the loudest one , in total 6 people got slapped by hanz, he than explained to them that they are putting people's lives at risk , and if they want fun, they just have to ask . So the next they they asked him what he ment the day before. He told them to all get up , grab the railing on both sides , and if he says left , lean left , if he says right lean right , and than he started driving the bus like a mad man trough the curvy road to school (i live in europe ) , if they didn't Lean , the bus would have tipped 100% , they never disrespected hanz again
Bruh the bumps are the bests part. I remember a pothole we used to go over and it would send us flying in the air if you sat in the back. One time my head hit the ceiling lol.
I remember in 4th grade I went to a super small school and there was probably 10 kids on the bus tops. Everyone stood up for the entire ride and one day I randomly decided not to and so when school people finally decided to check the cameras I was THE ONLY ONE not to get into trouble!
We always loved it when we hit a bump and we’d see who could go the highest and since I was pretty tall I’d hit the roof it was fun but driving to school is so much better
When you said normal I didn’t know what you meant but I’m assuming you mean normal as in city type busses. In America we have at least 4 types of busses. One with a “flat” grill(front), normal curve front shown in the video, coach busses, so mainly for long trips, pro sport teams, etc, and city busses.
Here in Brazil is the same: the school busses are just normal busses and vans. We use more vans than busses because of practicity and narrow streets, most vans are Mercedes-Benz Sprinters or Fiat Ducatos.

When I was a kid, we used to make our bus driver George take this HUGE hill that went so far down than all the way back up again, but at the bottom, there was this massive bump, and if you were sitting right at the back of the bus, and timed it just right, when he went over the bump, I swear it felt like you were in anti gravity for like a split second lmao 😂 We got SOOO much air from that hahaha 🤣 Good times man. You are the craziest school bus driver I ever saw since Charlie Wright and Herb Snyder. Those two guys were my school bus drivers when I was in school. I am 63 years old. Charlie always gave us a sack of hard candy when he brought us home right before Christmas break. As a junior in high school one day I wore a 40's theme costume (just rifled my mom's closet). Herb wolf whistled at me and said if he had seen me 30 years ago he would have asked me out. Miss those guys.
