Your videos have been insightful. I have been doing social work/case management for almost 5 years. I’ve dealt with adults with autism (Independent Living Skills) and now working with homeless foster youth as a housing case manager for one of HUDs program. I’m hoping to take my experiences to a macro level next year 🙏🏼

Great video! I am embarking on a new career as a macro SW after many years in direct practice. I have worked everywhere except the school system and jail 🤣. It was time to put all of my experience together and get a seat at the big table. Look forward to more of your content.

I currently work in case mgmt without an MSW. In order to pivot into macro social work, would I need to attend a university that has an online MSW program that specializes in macro practice to obtain a career in macro social work?
No, you would not because any profession or background can focus on doing social change work. However, it never hurts to have the foundational knowledge in your toolbox of attending a specialized macro-track MSW degree program.
