Rice pudding is so good! In Norway we take the leftover cold rice pudding and mix it with whipped cream and sugar, and serve it with raspberry sauce. A traditional Christmas desert!

In Turkey, we have this amazing desert called Sütlaç. It is like rice pudding but a little bit different. We cook it in the oven so you have this crispy, a little bit burned layer on top. It tastes amazing.

Love your videos, honestly. I watch at least two episodes before bed every night just because them enjoy it so much. Lately I've been a little sick so and I'm not allowed to cook much, but I cant WAIT to get back into the kitchen to start making some of these recipes, especially the rice pudding which is my all time favorite dessert. Thanks for being such a big inspiration in my life, as I've tried making a few of your dishes (always forget to take pictures because my friends and I eat it all before we remember to do it!) You guys are the best! :)

Great video! But I found strange how you did polenta. I'm italian and polenta it's one of my favorite winter dish and my grandma always cooked it adding polenta ( i think it's cornmeal in english) in boiling water (salted) and then you stir for 40/45 min until it thickens and then you serve it! It's great even the day after if you slice it and cook it in a pan until it darkens and becomes crunchy. I'll definitely try the vanilla rice pudding! xx

I make my Banoffee shakes the night before or earlier in the day, place it in the fridge and come back to blend it up as either a sweet potassium shake or a treat. If I make it for breakfast, I'll use peanut butter as a means to get rich flavor that complements bananas and caramel as well as a provide great nutrition.

Here in Portugal we have this traditional christmasy sort of rice pudding called "arroz doce" (sweet rice) very similar to your recipe. But our pudding doesn't need oven time, it cooks fully in the pan. And we use lemon zest and a cinnamon stick to add flavour. :D It's heavenly!

Whole milk is wonderful for soaking your feet. However I mainly use it for marinating frying chicken. Having a family I buy chicken in bulk, then I SORT what I will use for frying, put it in a freezer bag, cover with milk & freeze it. After its thawed, the milk seems to tenderize & coat the chicken so my award worthy fry mix can stick in all the nooks & crannies of the now succulent bird. Yumba!

My family is from Bangladesh, so my mom made rice pudding with lots of other spices, like cardamom and cloves. So what I do is I infuse the milk with cinnamon stick, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, star anise and bay leaves. Once it comes to a boil I let it steep for about 10 minutes. Then I strain it, put it back on the heat, add sugar, brown sugar and stir it until the sugar is dissolved. Then I add my rice, bring it up to a boil and simmer it until the rice is cooked. I then add raisins during the last 5 minutes of cooking so when the pudding is done, the raisins are nice and plump. Lastly, I season with just a pinch of salt to enhance all the flavors and spices. And that's my Indian Rice Pudding: Orv-ed!

at my house we make arroz con leche differently. we usually boil water with a cinnamon stick and then once that's all cinnamony water goodness we add left over white rice into the pot with milk and as much sugar as u want (take out the cinnamon stick), stir it until its well combine and let it simmer. Then it becomes a pot of deliciousness. At least that's how we make it :D my abuela puts raisins and nuts in it.

Rice pudding in the pressure cooker!!! It's how I make risotto. No need to say it is not authentic - I'm Italian! - but it takes no time, and you can still put it at the end under the grill (for the rice pudding) or stir it vigorously (for the risotto) to get the consistency you want! ;)

Its just regular cow milk, but the worst part is that i cant even have regular everyday items with traces of milk in them. I also became allergic to eggs and sunlight. Just use other kinds of milk: rice, soy, almond, coconut etc. You can look up on the internet. You shouldn't restrict Yourself from things You really like, especially, when they could be made in different way but taste quite the same. ;) Eggs could also be replaced. I know about three ways to replace the eggs, don't know how much there are in total, lol. I hope You get well soon, You know? I've heard lots of people who were allergic to this, to that, but it seems like their bodies were more sensitive to a lot of modern factors than others and after they changed their lifestyle every sickness and allergy was gone.
@rhyfelwrDuw

That's not good! I'm lactose intolerant so I use Rice Drink or Soya Milk, although friends have told me Almond Milk is good (not so if you're allergic to nuts)! I'm also trying to go Gluten Free as I think I am either gluten or wheat intolerant (although porridge oats aren't gluten free, they are wheat free so I could have those if it's only wheat I'm intolerant to). Try replacing the items you're allergic to with ones you're OK with - if you cook your own food this is easier!

ok so i know a dessert that uses alot of milk but don't know it's actual name.. here we call it "om ali" puff pastry goes into the oven to crisp up and when it's done, we pull it apart in half then put a layer in a that squary plate(?) then a layer of sugar + coco nut sprinkle(?) + and other nuts. than another layer of puff pastry and another mix and las layer of pastry. heat up a whole milk, stir sugar in and put hail (cardamom) for flavor. after heated pour the milk on the pastry until it's covered, pop it in the oven for additional 10 mins or so and enjoy :D (not really educated for kitchen stuff hence the limited proper words :$ )
