What i REALLY want for this dlc, is they add the armor sets or maybe the weapons from previous soulsborne games, like the Artorias set, The hunters set, the chosen undead set, and my favorite, The Firelink set. Like, if Patches, the same Patches from all the other soulsborne games is in the lands betwen, isin't likely that they would add some references, like all the other weapons and armors that we find in the normal game?

Gelmir, that is exacly like Smogh from Ds1, and wen i say that, im not saying that is just similar, his armor is the same (ecxept the boul in his head) his hamer is the same, and the combat move set is the same, why would they not add similar weapons and armors to prevous games ( whyt slitli changes of corse)

Here's an idea for the Flask: A tear that adds one use but doesn't do anything else. This way, if there is one specific effect you would want to use twice, you now can, but it is impossible to use a Flask with two effects more than once. So basically you would be able to use the Flask twice but at the cost of one effect. I think that would satisfy both those who want to use the Flask more than once and those who are concerned about balancing issues.

my wishlist is - a decent gank fight - more blackflame/destined death spells - a visit to Helphen and the lampwood - extra attention on godwyn/deathroot/those that live in death - another ending or two (maybe becoming a consort of the gloam eyed queen!)

there's a couple forest zones early in elden ring. It would be cool to have a later game forest zone with hills/clearings and stuff, or one that is more dank and swamp-like like Louisiana. As long as its not a poison swamp.

A few things I’d love to see is maybe a way to color swap some armors. Pretty straight forward just a way to customize fashion a bit since poise is so important and everyone runs the same 4 armors. maybe a way to infuse spells. For example you could change carian slicer to an ice sorcery which would give it frost build up while lowering its damage. Could be nice for thematic builds especially for builds that use spell types that only have a couple like briar sorcery or black flame incantations. Some specific weapons I’d like to see would be a faith katana possibly black flame or madness based, a bleed based ultra greatsword, a quarter staff with the move set of a twinblade but with the ability to cast spells for its ash of war, a seal or staff that’d let you cast either school of magic with it having mid scaling, and possibly a new great spear since there’s only a couple of them. Other than that I’d just like to see balance adjustments and some pvp game modes added.

We need grafting and prosthetics, it's in the lore and I'd like to be able to interact with the story and lore in that way. We also need another needle to customize our armor further

I want more thoughtful bosses like Gael. Ones that are a great challenge but feel fair to fight. A lot of the Elden bosses just felt hyper aggressive and that's it. And after the series of patches now they spend a lot of time being passive and staring at you.

Yea my biggest gripe with bosses in DS3 and Elden Ring is the seemingly infinite stamina bar they seem to have. I know they actually don't have infinite stamina and instead have a system like your player charecter, but I swear to God they all have max level stamina and 2x recovery speed

For sure. IMO Godfrey is one of the few fights that gets that balance. Even when you "learn" the hyper aggro bosses I still feel like I'm running half the time. You can BRAWL with godfrey. Favorite fight hands down.

@@draysmusicalshtposts6340 Godfrey is definitely my favorite fight in the game. He feels like a match of equals; he's incredibly powerful but doesn't have any annoying gimmicks. He's just an incredibly strong, well experienced warrior with an understanding of how to use his strength effectively, both armed and unarmed. And him also being the only opponent in the game to show you respect from the word go.

I think we need a massive expansion to spells and incantations, especially for the groups of spells/incants that are very limited in selection, like Golden Order incants, death rite spells and gravity magic. I recently made a Golden Order fundamentalist build, and after fighting Radagon again, realized how many badass Golden Order incants he uses and how disappointing it is that we don't have access to those as well. Gravity is also a bit lackluster, I feel like a lot can be done with it other than just "big rock throw". So far the only unique thing about gravity magic is that you can pull enemies toward you. I'd also like to see gravity spells that can throw enemies into the air or slam them into the ground.

I'd love to see them do more with the transmog system besides just adding and removing capes from certain armour sets. I'd love it if other sets that don't have capes would be able to remove or change parts of the armour. For instance I would love to wear the fire monk armour but I can't stand the goofy fire giant face on the chest. If it wasn't for that it would be my go to chest piece. Also as someone else mentioned I'd love to have a colour swap system and change the could of certain armour pieces. Would make it even better for fashion

I think the issue with crucible wing is it could be used for mobility or creative parkour and they just don't want to bother with adding invisible walls to stop this. I'd settle for a nerfed version where you just rush forward with wings spread behind your back and just give it hyper armor

4:20 - "You just don't want to go back and gather all the materials again." Uh ... You are aware that you can find items in the game that will allow you to buy all but the top tier upgrade materials, right? The only thing that's limited is ancient dragon smithing stones, ancient dragon somber smithing stones, great ghost glovewort and great grave glovewort. Everything else can be bought by giving the corresponding items to the twin husks in the Roundtable Hold, meaning you can upgrade everything to +24/+9 if you got the runes.

Agree with everything here man. The track record for From Soft DLCs is a tough act to follow but that just instills more confidence in me that they will knock it out the park yet again. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what we uncover in the lore but definitely the bosses are gonna slap. Old Hunters and Ringed City bosses are literally peak From Soft so if they can somehow top that I would be floored. Where is the Sekiro DLC though indeed

There’s no real reason to transfer weapon levels, if you collect all the somber and smithing stone bell bearings in a playthrough you can get everything to +9 and +24

Late comment, but in regards to covenants: I think the main reason those were left out this time around was for a greater accessibility of content in single player gameplay. The main reason to join any covenant in, say, the darkmoon covenant of dark souls 3, where the pvp reward for them could get you a really really good buf spell. You’re guaranteed one of these drops after beating someone in pvp, but then only a .1% drop from a single enemy in a given area. This time in ER, pretty much everything is accessible rather easily if you look for it long enough. The only real pvp centric items are the albenaric pots and Mohg’s rune as far as I know

would love for a chalice dungeon type endgame system or in between the journey like bloodborne with weaker early - mid game dungeons and late - end game dungeons, full of rare materials that usually dont respawn and aincient simithing stones as rewards for exploring them and have the harder ones get modifiers like bloodborne where your hp is halved etc to make it more challenging. and having themed dungeons for each zone of the game, like a caelid themed dungeons with appropriate enemies scarlet rot etc.

We have 5 scarab heads each with unique differing effects, they could easily put one in that has the same effect as the mimic head from Darksouls. A tear for slightly increased Rune gain(for a short time)and another for item discovery. Using it in a boss fight means giving up the buffs or heals for the fight making them a tad harder but you gain a larger reward in the end.

Good video but I disagre with almost everything lol Torrent is fine, the flask is fine and going find the stones to upgrade the weapons is part of the game. Like I complete most side quests just to get one more +10 stone and I don't use just one weapon, I change it based on the boss I'm fighting (I just use Rivers of Blood on Malenia)

How about build dependent skills, with enough dex, you can deflect attacks with L1 mikiri counter style for katanas, swords, curved swords, and their great counterparts, and with enough str, the L1 for axes, hammers, collosal swords and collosal weapons counts as half a parry, first one will always stagger but not down them for a critical

I would argue that the boss fights don’t actually need to be hard. They need to be GOOD. Gael is the perfect representation of this. He’s by far not the hardest boss, but his fight feels like a cinematic event. Which is why everyone typically agrees that he is the best boss in fromsoft history. So more of that would be amazing.

They need to build upon Madness, Deathblight, Sleep and Poison/Rot. Basically all the magic that wasn't focused on in the main game. And more weapons with those elements. Thats my take.

Idea for the boss rush mode: Imagine if they gave you the choice between a set loadout and your own loadout. It could make some bosses a lot more challenging, like if they forced you to use a slashing weapon against a Crystalian and you had to focus on guard breaking. Idk, I think it'd be cool.

I would like a merchant that acts as the crows from ds and have a reason to have 99 golden seeds in your inventory. And able to trade those items for other items and armor

Regarding the first point, I think it would be more likely/better from the developers to add a level scaling option rather than a boss rush option, because the second hurts replayability. I don't have to play the game again, and invest several more hours of playtime, if I can just fight in a boss rush mode.

Agreed. I love Elden Ring but thats one of my issues with the game. There's no level scaling so, some bosses are a cakewalk, some are impossible until you go grind a bit. Hurts new game plus as well, I was expecting much more difficulty then here I am steamrolling it. Regardless, looking forward to the DLC!
