In this video, I talk about some photography tips to improve your ability to take good photos in bad locations. I also take photos on location and do my best to be creative (Which was extremely tough given the circumstances)

I just had a conversation with a client about a location of a photo shoot she was looking for a nice place like a country club with beautiful sceneries but I told her all we need old buildings, water fountain, big old trees, flowers, arches the rest do not matter is not a landscape photoshoot, also have you checked the new phone flash from godox

Nice tips, Manny. The only quibble is that Diana is a seasoned model and can work with you to mix in some expressive poses that improve the shot. She looks so good that the background becomes unimportant. It is harder to do a portrait session with a 12 year old kid with her mother standing there. Park benches are going to impress any clients. I understand your point about minimizing the unpleasing elements when you have no choice. The biggest tip is to shoot in photo friendly environments.

Wow I wish I saw this yesterday. I got so discouraged when my pics just..well sucked. It wasn't a shoot or anything just carried my girl out to relax and I had my camera , no lighting or modifiers . And I was challenged to take pics in very low light, just using the ambient light around. Well I really disliked my shots. They sucked. But I have to admit, Another tip should be don't be lazy. Lol. I was lazy a bit ,cuz I kinda felt discouraged cuz the lighting was so little I didn't know if I could make something out of it. Suffice to say. I learnt alot. And this just added to it.

I agree that a wide aperture long focal length lens is a photographer's best friend in that it is not only generally flattering to the subject but can low our the background which can save your bacon in a lot of locations,,,

Quick question. As far as I can see, you didn’t use flash in the last photos. How were you able to keep the images sharp? The scene looked fairly dark so I’m assuming you used a higher ISO to keep shutter speed high enough to eliminate motion blur.

Yo manny I need your advice! You’ve been an inspiration since day one when I started photography a year ago. I’m negotiating a photoshoot with my gym Anytimefitness.
