Also, I find it so strange these influencers constantly shop, day in & out, yet there's only a few pieces hanging neatly in their wardrobes...So, where does it all go, or do they really shop all this stuff (or is it just for ads...)?
Lydia is actually one of the very few influencers who don't do huge hauls then return everything she will pick a shop like h&m then pick out items she would buy if she was in the market for new pieces and just shows you the pictures from the website of the items she would recommend im so sick of buying items online and they have obviously been returned so many times by people who dont care i recently bought a pair of suede boots so not cheap the box was crushed and the boots stuffing was out and just thrown back in the box and the tissue paper hadn't been wrapped back around the boots and they were scuffed they order them take a few photos make a few videos then dobt care about the item going back in the state they received them it is disgusting they should not get their money back if its not returned in the same state it was sent out to them its not the first time I have bought items that have obviously been worn and returned too asos is the brand ive had it happen the most 😢
@@donnamcdermott443 Punctuation perhaps?😅 I agree it's a sad truth many items are sent back and even after people obviously been using it.. I also find it such a waste, both environment wise and for mother nature and economically (which could be spent by companies on those poor under paid workers making the clothes, instead of all these free returns & deliver fees) by those ordering ten items, only to try out which one is best, and then return nine of them... Go to the shops for trying (and buy if possible, then you'll support locals in yr town) and if your size is not available, THEN order it online. This online ordering and using it as a form of fittingroom at home, is by no means a sustainable way of living.
My mother weighs about 200 pounds and she dresses accordingly to her weight she always always looks impeccable beautiful elegantly dressed. As she walks she always gets compliments as to how beautiful she is and how gorgeous she is dressed. I think it's more a matter of taste and knowing what looks good on you than weight. ❤
@@Roktta06 It's true, this is a question of good taste. I weighed about 10 years ago almost 20 kg more than now. But I used to get very often compliments from strangers on the street or anywhere. Now I am much slimmer and still get these compliments. It's exactly the same as it used to be as I wasn't that slim.😊
I love it, but I just can’t do number three. I would feel like I’m in my pajama pants. That’s one of those that I think it looks good on other people, but I would be so uncomfortable.
Your beautiful shape really makes those clothes hang on you perfectly!! Just beautiful looks!! Very elegant!! I’ve always hated the big logos on clothing or bags, cheapens the look!
Nice styles. Where I live I could never wear long sleeves or a sweater this time of year, though. It was 96° F today (humidity made it feel like 105)! Summer evenings are typically too hot, also. 🔥🔥🔥
Tfs! Great tips, also modesty is a big component… from what I noticed, “quiet luxury” is always covered up which I love. Showing my “assets” seems cheap imho
Some beautiful outfits, I love the way you put pieces together. First outfit, I like the width of the white trousers but I’m not at all sure about the shape and how they make the legs look.
It's 2024-let's challenge the concept of luxury. Why do people still feel the need for validation through status and luxury? For me, true joy comes from supporting small businesses and artists/designers who create clothing and accessories driven by creativity and generally earn their family's living from these businesses. I find happiness, for example, in wearing macrame or crochet pieces handcrafted by local women, rather than luxury items produced under exploitative conditions (aka modern slavery) by large fashion brands.
I just recently discovered why I love plain clothes with zero logos, it's because I don't want to be an advertising billboard for these brands. The Nike logo especially stands out too much. The Louis Vuitton Pattern is not as valuable anymore especially in my country where people who buy luxury at the full price are considered idiots because downtown markets have a lot of LV dupe bags.
i actually liked the first outfit with the greyish belt. 😀 i wonder if it means my view on style is too much and need to tone it done to have as you said a more cohesive look.
I love your ideas, I would so love it if it fit my normal lifestyle. Cashmere is out of the question. So is silk or satin. where would I go in those clothes? I would love to enhance my daily experience of going to town. for lunch and shopping. It would really be nice to have a set of casual outfits that are very interesting. Looking in case I encounter anyone else the rest of the day. Comfort, cleverness and beauty above sexiness.
May I ask how tall you are? I am 5 Ft 3 in and 98lbs. I am not skinny and bones as some might think. I am a personal trainer and lift weights. Question please? I simply can not pull off a baggy look on any part of my body. I wear clothes the show my shape. Otherwise , this petite woman gets lost in clothes.that wear me. Please remember the petite woman. ( I do apologize as a new viewer you may have addressed this particular topic before). I was immediately drawn to a look I agree and wear similar fashion. Elegance , with a twist of an eclectic interesting piece is an excellent way to meet others. For example, I will wear an interesting piece of jewelry that tells a story, or a Kate Spade purse that has her iconic themes of the month.
You look very nice in all 3. I love the last one the most. Sweater is absolutely stunning. I will try LTK app and see where I can purchase ( if you posted).
A well-dressed woman of good breeding and good taste does not wear logos, animals, or tatoos. She does not allow her underwear to show thru her clothing, nor does she wear clothing so tight that her underwear and topography show thru it. Her clothing is ironed, in good shape, and not worn out. She wears underwear or shape-wear that is clean and invisible. She knows that modesty is more appealing than revealing is appealing and mystery is more attractive than disclosure.
Some great looks and good advice, but please don't say the word aesthetic as 'asthetic'. The a is silent in this word and it should definitely be pronounced esthetic. Same with the word Aesop (pronounced eesop). These two words derive from the Greek.
Hi do you have tips on how to make jean shorts look like quiet luxury? Or would you suggest to stay away from jean shorts all together? I have a pair of Eddie Bauer shorts that I recently thrifted (which are short but much more modest than most brands these days) and I am wondering if you have suggestions in this department? Would love suggestions!
These are the moat ill-fitting pants I have ever seen, & they also look like they've been out in the rain far too long... & she actually paid good $ for these??? Good.grief.
Could you stand still and not jam dialogue? It is as if you had nerve condition, such as St Vitus. Leave in those extra seconds. We all have the time. And I love your taste, just not your editing.
I think its funny when people say no logos but still wear items that are easily identified as expensive items by the shape and style of them it is still not quiet it's quieter but everyone still knows ❤
