Ultimate Baseball Training Hello coach my travel team has just told me that I will be starting to play Third Base as my secondary position. Could you make a video on tips how to get the ball to third base and how to properly field a ground ball I am a catcher and outfielder I have no clue about anything to do with Fielding a ground ball I played a little short stop in nine and eight you but now I'm in 14U and it's much different. Thank you for taking your time have a good day!
I guess Im randomly asking but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Kaiden Dax I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
For some of these drills like the one at around 2:30 do you have left-handed throwers reverse what you're showing with their footwork? I'm trying to do extra work with my left-handed 7.5 year old.
I know I’m 3 years late but I have a question if you can answer. When doing a forehand play don’t you have to get in front of it like if you are doing the ball straight at you? I mean if you can’t reach it in time yes you don’t have to get in front of it but I’m only saying this because if you can get in there in time don’t you field it correctly? I don’t know if I make sense but if you can answer that would be great :)
Thank you so much my kid just started baseball and this will come so useful!! My background is basketball so thank you life save will definitely subscribe 🤙
Hey Justin my daughter is 6 and in the Jr. Giants tball program last night was players meet and greet but there team was the only one without a coach so guess who stepped up me! Any advise on simple drills to teach kids 5-7 who have never played a real game before specifically drills that are easy for them to understand, will hold their attention and most importantly that are FUN for their age?? Anything helps thanks
Hey coach i lost the feel of my batting stance and people are saying it look's different how can you get it like when you started out , how can you regain your stance ?
Go with what's comfortable man. Your stance is just a starting point. Even Big Leaguers change their stances from time to time. It's not about how you start or what your stance looks like. It's about being on time and on plane with the pitch. I'd say don't stress about it. Find a stance that's comfortable for you and one that works!
Thanks Coach Justin, this is a great one for my more advanced players! Quick question - for a left handed player would you move that middle cone over to the opposite side of the triangle?
Hey Coach, Could you make a video for left hand throwers? Thanks I have a 9 year old that is trying to get better for his first year in Minors - little league.
New subscriber... Just took on a head coach role for a local youth team...looking to add 2 of these drills to some of our future practices .....rounding the ball and the chin tuck
Do you have any tips for 4-6 year olds? teaching catching fundamentals and stopping them from running away from the ball or taking a step back while catching.
Great video Coach. These are all 'fundamental' drills. The forgotten word in Ball "fundamentals". I coach Girls U10-11 Fastpitch..many are just moving up to the next level, and are limited fundamentally / mechanically. This isn't a bad thing. They need reps, repetitive drills like these...and putting together a system is what i'm looking for These cone drills are wonderful. Breaking around the cone, I hope is an exaggeration away from game condition...maybe the video. it appears 6-8ft around the cone. I'm guessing the fields you play on are well groomed. Our Girls (Parks and Rec.) are relegated,..we go from Bricks to Dirt... bad hops are common place, and Fastpitch field is short, ball comes at 3x faster. For video instructions...is this an exaggeration As for the spin as 2nd base...I would think our girls could handle this..most have winter activities Gymnastic and Dance. I like your coaching style...thankfully you didn't go off on a word savant tangent or start name dropping MLB Players
Hey coach! Thank you for all your videos. For lefties fielding would the footwork be right left field then pivot left right throw because obviously their body position is flipped just curious about the initial footwork prior to fielding the ball.
