I think F1 needs a rotation system for tracks, of some sort. For example a number of fixated tracks that occur every year (in my opinion it would be Suzuka, Australia, Canada, Monza, Monaco, Catalunya, Silverstone, Azerbaijan, Interlagos, Singapur, Abu Dhabi, Austin), and a number of 10 tracks from the pot of potential tracks that interchange each other. You can make triplets of tracks that rotate in and out of the calendar like (Imola, Mugello, Spielberg; Portimao, Madrid, Jerez; Istanbul, Hungaroring, Balaton Park (not Grade 1 yet but easy to upgrade); Kyalami (see Balaton Park), Sepang, Shanghai; Zandvoort, Spa, Nürburgring; Bahrain, Qatar, Jeddah ; Miami, Las Vegas, Mexico; Paul Ricard, Magny-Cours, Estoril; Indianapolis, Fuji, Korea; Bahrain (alt.), Paul Ricard (alt.), Aragón). The way my example works, there would be 22 races in the calendar each year with 40 tracks featured in a 3 year timespan (the alternative variants are only in the calendar if the regular track isn't present). I admit I was two tracks short to make it 10 triplets, thats where the alternative variants are from.

Unpopular opinion: have 10 tracks with the most tradition that are locked in the racing calendar (like Monaco , suzuka, monza,..) and than we got 20 tracks that are rotating (giving a total of 20 races). Its a win win. Tracks like nurburgring or Hockenheim arent in the racing calendar because they couldn't afford the licencing fees. But if they have to pay it only onece every two years, a race would be much more affordable. Also it would bring much more variety into every season.

Haven't Watched yet but my list would probably be: India (MotoGP Is Now There So Hopes Are Higher) Kyalami (#RaceInAfrica) Portimao (One Of My Favourite Circuits In General) Mugello (Forza Ferrari) Sepang (See Portimao) Indianapolis ( ;) ) Turkey (See Sepang)

I really like Hockenheim, but if I had the choice, I'd actually prefer the Nürburgring as the track for the German GP. Hockenheim is a good modern F1 track, a mix of medium to high speed corners with a couple of heavy braking zones as well. However, this applies to many other tracks as well (not that that's a bad thing, it obviously works well). The Nürburgring is something the F1 calendar doesn't really have; a high downforce track that isn't narrow. Monaco and Hungary are F1's staple high downforce tracks, and Zandvoort has snuck into that camp as well since its return. But they're all quite narrow and it's kinda hard to overtake there (I know Zandvoort last year had the most overtakes ever, but that was due to the really unpredictable weather). The Nürburgring is still a high downforce track, but it's wide enough to allow for side by side racing even with today's huge cars.

I watched your previous videos about tracks and about WEC and I think that you need to become a manager of development in FIA or in F1 mate. We need guys like you that want to make F1 more exciting and better to drive in F1 management.

Bring back Silverstone and Zeltweg from the 80s when they were the two fastest circuits on the calendar and didn't look like crap! Oh and bring back Brands Hatch!

I worked as a marshal at Kyalami in the early 2000 and I have seen F1 cars around the track when winter testing was done differently. Kyalami is an old-school track with gravel and no runoff areas. - There is a lot of elevation change. - The track is at an altitude of 1500m. - In the past, the racing was in the summer which can have changeable conditions

I would like to see the Canadian Grand Prix alternate yearly between the Montreal GV Track and the classic Mosport Park. Not only is Mosport Park an old classic F1 circuit but is also historically known for the most extreme race series of all time - CAN-AM. It is 4.7 kms of raw speed and huge straights, sweeping high speed turns and massive elevation changes. A Modern F1 car on that track would be absolutely epic.

I would love to see coming back these 4 circuits and also Budh track in India.

A few months back, there was a auction for administration for Istanbul Park and there was a obligation: new administration must bring back F1 from 2026 onwards. Administration changed but old administration is not leaving so fingers crossed for solving of the contradiction and bringing F1 back to Istanbul Park 🤞🏻

Those are some goated mentions here are some of the circuits I would bring back: Portimão, Hockenheim (alternating with Nürburgring), Mugello(alternating with either Monza or Imola) , and Indianapolis in place of the Miami Grand Prix.

The classic hockenheim with the long striaghts. Indianapolis or Daytona Jerez or Estoril Sepang and Istanbul for sure.

5 tracks F1 needs - Buenos Aires, Argentina (Latin America must be a top priority for Domenicali) - Portimao (they don't call it the rollercoaster for a reason) - Aragón, Spain (modern Tilkedrome w G1 license, should be a good fit) - Buriram, Thailand (see Aragón, also located in a huge market) - Somewhere in Africa

kylami has always been one of my favorite tracks

My pick would be : Kyalami Sepang Nurburgring AND Hockenheim. The latter one having three tight turns with double possibilities for overtakes. Both ”brake late” or ”better exit” passing. Also the stadium complex where a mathematical geometric genius like Vettel could shine by taking height and chosing alternative lines and apex’s to surprise opponents. And that is all done without DRS. It’s also a great race to watch both on television or trackside(2 times).

Sepang is a great track, but the problem now is that in modern F1 if it starts even spitting with rain they seem to red flag it and wait for it to stop.

Circuit I loved was old Hockenheim but I also liked the Buddh International circuit in India. I completely agree with Malaysia. I really wish Austria had more to it and would quite happily see it and Hungary drop off the list.

I want back in F1: 1. Sepang (my absolutely favorite track) 2. Istanbul (sequeces turn 1-2 and genious turn 8) 3. One of "covid" Track: Mugello (genious third sector) or Portimao/Algarve (genious rollercoaster)

I personally think portimao is highly underrated

well, with now 24 Races, you could go up to 32 tracks with every track getting 4 races in 5 years - and you can remove some stinkers like monaco, barcelona, abu dhabi or imola, then you have room for more new tracks or old ones to come back

I think we should have around 25 tracks, around 5 for each continent. 5 in Europe, 5 in Asia, 3 in Africa, 5 in both Americas and 2 in Australia + Oceania

While it is nowhere near ready to host F1, based on layout alone I want to see Ozarks International Raceway raced at. Of the actual circuits mentioned, Istanbul Park would be my top pick. Realistic picks of tracks not in the video: 1. Macau would be crazy fun... and dangerous; 2. Mount Panorama is a pipe dream; and 3. Brno seems like a circuit F1 would be good at. All these are Grade 2, though.

Most people still don't understand that istanbul Hockenheim/nurburgring, sepang all these tracks don't have the financials necessary to go back to F1 this is one of the reason why they're being replaced by street circuits. I know it's stupid but it's the sad truth of traditionnal circuits.

A) Purpose Built, Wider tracks B) In locations with unpredictable weather C) With tricky, off camber corners and elevation changes

Sepang would be a good return, but it lacks one thing crucial: Local support. One thing I always see brought up is that there is a local bike culture, not car, so MotoGP is more popular and suited for Sepang rather than F1.

Too many modern circuits have the tarmac run off areas with no gravel traps and corners with no names. I do like Sepang with unpredictable weather and a good layout making great racing.

As much as i love the nurburgring, if germany gets a spot on the calendar again it has to be hockenheim. It has objectively better racing

Funny that I’m from Portugal, and we have 2 f1 tracks, we had Estoril, witch held f1 jn late 80s and early 90s, Senna got his first win there, and we have another that had f1 during covid, another amazing track, Algarve, but we don’t have enough money to host it

The only way I'd want Hockenheim back is if they brought back the original layout. I also liked the circuits in India, which was sadly mared in corruption and money laundering which will stop it coming back, South Korea, which I seem to remember had the longest straight in F1, and Argentina, which was only on the calendar for a couple of years but always produced great racing

To be fair, it's the track promoters who canceled the Malaysian GP iirc, not F1. The promoters barely broke even on the Malaysian GP, while MotoGP was always their bread and butter, so it made more financial sense for them to focus on MotoGP.

Hot take I think Istanbul other than turn 8 is a completely mid and forgettable track and I don't miss it. Sepang is the best Tilke creation but still not that great. My three are Nürburgring, Portimao and Magny Cours. Okay there won't be much passing on that track but fuck it, I just love the layout. But I could also swap it for Mugello.

Nurburgring, Sepang, Istanbul Park, Magny Cours all in for me. Miami, Las Vegas, Jeddah, Lusail, Paul Ricard bye.

I'm 100% on with turkey coming back, but my top 3 would be it, Magny Cours, and Estoril, but while not my favorite, I would support kyalami 100%. Also, I would like another race in South America, but there's isn't any real good tracks fit for F1, unfortunately, come on Argentina, do something.

All new tracks other than Kylami. I'd like to see Watkins Glenn back in place of either Miami or Vegas. But , it would be impossible to make it attractive to modern-day F1 even if the track was up to spec.

They insist on including shitty urban GPs, but there are great circuits that could return, like Sepang, Nurburgring or Hockenheim, and others like India or South Korea, and maybe you can alternate them, have them run in the opposite direction or recover old routes (like Hockenheim) but they only care about money.
