First yea player, fantasy auction ans dynasty.. feeling like I'm over my head. What % of my money should I spend on each position? And I'm wondering if I should punt on this year, and over pay for young corner pieces for my offense for a few years, knowing that year 1 won't be my year to win? Is that something I should consider?

If it is a "shallow league" start 8 players or less, a stars and scrubs approach can work.If you start 10 players a more balanced approach is recommended

@@rotowire yea its 10 spots. I think I'm just gonna grab 2 young star receivers, t law and herbert, and then draft young upside running backs

I play with a bunch of sharks in auction leave of 12 . Where you can keep up 3 players from last year . Salary cap is 150 start 1 Qb, 2RB,2wr, te , flex , kicker , D . I go cheap D , kicker (1$) . It used to be expensive rb driven league . Joe mixon 45 $! Mccaffrey $53 . I think this year is going to WR going to be those prices ! I kept James cook , raschad white for under 10 each but kept Debo Samuel for 14 dollars . Now I usually go with a balanced team but this year given the depth of WR , RB handcuff so I’m willing to spend on Qb like Lamar , Trevor Lawrence ( I can’t do hurts I’m a giants fan lol ) . And going for stud WR . Thoughts ?

@@tommygunnie3409 that sounds like a good plan to me. I don't know enough to trust my opinion though lol. I'm hoping for a good year, but the guys I play with are pretty dang smart, so if I do ever win it'll be because I built a team over a few years I think

Not a great draft. Built your team with players on middling to bad offenses. Little chance for upside there.

Super flex auction, what would be your strategy? Spend on a top qb or get 2 mid to low tier guys?

A few ways to play it. Pay up for 2 x top 5 QBs. Go mid road on WRs and cheap on RBs. The other popular way is one elite and one cheap guy 9Goff, Purdyy etc)
