Worked at McDonald's as a young teen, and when it got late in the night I was real grateful for the window separating me and the customers; there are some major loonies come out after dark. I can't imagine being a delivery person, especially now.

You're right, it's never been more dangerous to be a delivery driver than it is today. My daughter's friend, Kayla, was murdered while delivering pizza. He kidnapped her in the company car, attempted to rape her, asphyxiated her with a plastic bag over her head and left her body in the park. Then had the audacity to go joyriding in the company car, which he was apprehended in. He's in prison now. Drivers go through a lot to bring us our meals, we should tip accordingly. (I'm not saying that there aren't 💩 💩 drivers out there, there definitely are) but to the good drivers: 🫡🫡🫡

I wish I could laugh react this. It's food delivery not a job that requires bravery. Anyone with any sense can eyeball a robbery before it even takes place and just leave

@@carriecrackrock1221 By the time you can eyeball a robbery, you may already have a pistol pointed at you and find out it is too late and too dangerous to hit the gas petal. A guy being nervous in the first story was not hard evidence that something was wrong...or at the very least not enough justification for a delivery driver to abort mission.

When I delivered pizzas I never carried a wallet and just enough cash to make change. I kept my tips in a safe at the pizza shop. I carried nunchucks and knew how to use them… messed up several gangbangers real good. It was back before mobile phones. Pretty much saw it all.
