Hi Chau! Yes, the height of the center stone may assist with the increase or decrease in amount of light. However, it is also highly dependent on the design of the halo or cluster. If the halo and cluster is not a solid piece and allows light to pass through then the increase in setting height may not be necessary to increase the sparkle.
