Yeah, I know there is a problem with that. But, if more people learned about real life people like De Wiart and anyone else that lived such amazing lives like they did, as explained in videos like this one, maybe, just maybe it would get made and people would find it believable one day..?!😮🙁
These people were amazing survivors! The last story was my favorite, though. The fact he survived not only Hiroshima, but also Nagasaki is an absolute miracle. And, even after all that radiation poisoning, he went on to father 2 more children, then live to a ripe old age of 93 is amazing!
Many people did survive. The damage was bad, but hyped for fear tactic. The bomb exploded in the air, not on the ground, and only a tiny part of the chain reaction occurred. There was no mushroom cloud, as were shown in the desert tests. But that in no way diminishes this gentleman's ordeal and his recovery from it.
I see that Ms.Unsinkable was on the same boat as Molly Brown and I wonder if they both ever met either while on the boat or later...... it's fantastic that these people survived and lived a quiet life.... for most of them
@@mjrchapin if the bomb had exploded in the ground it would have done far less damage. The reason why the bomb was detonated in the air was to maximize the air burst. The shock wave is what does the most damage. Not to mention the radiation poisoning afterwards.
When I saw '3 Unkillable People' I first thought oh, ok, Unsinkable Molly Brown, Rasputinn, the usual suspects. I should have known that you'd bring something different and fascinating!

I always want a connection to This disaster even in school we did a project on this and I tried to cop off the drawing of the Titanic that I wanted to do for my report and my mom was like just do it you know and I end up doing it by myself and I swear I couldn't have been any more perfect in detail as if I had been there and seen it myself

Getting cancer after surviving two atomic bombs as a young man is understandable but when the cancer shows up after he's 90 years old! Thats a friggin miracle and I hope he donated his DNA for research because those are some powerful genes! I think that survivable people share traits like good situational awareness, the ability to stay calm, and they can adjust to any situation and just do what needs to be done no matter what it is. Basically they can keep their head while everyone else is losing theirs. And it seems some have a very high threshold to pain and may have actually had 9 lives given to them!🙂
Can't figure out if people should check the passenger list to see if Violet's name was on it and if it was, run for your life away from the cruise or jump on board and glue yourself to her.
And the millenials think they have it tough. Astounding achievements and resilience displayed by all these legends. Biggest respect 🫡 to all. And respect 🫡 to ALL service men and women. Makes me shake my head when I hear some people complain

Or, maybe you WOULD. Think about it, of the 3 White Star ship disasters, The Titanic was the only one to suffer a huge amount of lives lost. If I were stationed on a ship with Violet back then, I'd stick to her like GLUE!
I like Violets sprit. She was one of those Go Getter women for her time. I can’t remember his name now, but the 💩 & horror old mate must’ve seen in the Boar War & 2WWs. Special mention to old mate No2 for surviving not 1 but 2 Nuclear bombings.
The phone caller sounds like the mother - I mean the unthankful B snatched baby out of her arms back then - if she has gone a little or a little more crazy at that time then this phone call sounds like something she could do.
I think Mr Ballen covered his story on his channel. Mr Benavidez's name is REALLY familiar. If we're both thinking about the same man, you're right, he was a total bad a$$. Mr Ballen did an awesome job of covering his, and a few others' incredible stories of bad assery and survival. His YT channel is simply Mr Ballen, and look for his stories from around a year ago. Damn I didn’t realize that I was traumatized by the car accident I was in 5 months ago but alas, the sound effects for the boat accident proves otherwise.

Please try and understand that I'm truly not trying to be an a** hole, but your number of deaths that happened in Hiroshima are wrong. I've been studying this subject for twenty years and a lot of the information that people use is absolutely not accurate. I'm strictly speaking about the deaths from the initial blast, not about the long term affects.
Those first two were just bad luck incarnate. Imagine sitting on some kind of public transport and one of them swanned on. Best laxitive you could ever experience.
Something tell me that karma or fake is trying to tell her she should have died on the ocean she was meant to die in the ocean. It's like final destination with the exception that she keeps going back to how she should have died originally the death that was destined for her
