Squash... Moms about to get a mailbox full! Apples! Mother Nature is about to bring all these Michigan apples to the yard. What will I do with all these apples in the yard? Chili... Bring it! Watcha got?!
I always look forward to your videos, they're really well edited and the recipes have really motivated me to cook more myself. As a suggestion for fall recipes: I would love to see some partyfoods to cook for a group of friends, maybe something you could serve with these delicious dips :)

@@phillippinter7518 oil is very popular everywhere, but for those who don't want heart disease or have heart disease, it is something to avoid. Thank you for letting know there is no oil in the beans.
I really enjoy your style, but also I ALWAYS learn a lot from your videos. Please continue! For context: I am a pretty competent home cook. For many years, I have enjoyed experimenting with different ingredients and cooking techniques. I am not vegan. I never miss your new videos. I have started making my own tempeh--ideas for using tempeh?
I find your videos super relaxing! Love your style and the content, always end up having your videos playing while chasing my 1 year old around. Keep it up!
Nah bro... Let's talk about it! Don't feel bad about being late to the salsa game. Remember, you used to hide sandwiches under your bed. I get it. That being said; Your use of the bundt pan for the corn; DUDE.... THATS GENIUS!
I love your videos! Your editing and presentation of some wonderful recipes makes for easy watching. (Why does a finger slowly moving a measuring spoon out of view make me laugh?? 😄)
We made the vegan nacho cheese yesterday and wow! I am trying to be more plant based and have found very good substitutes for most of the animal products I enjoyed eating except for cheese. This vegan nacho cheese sauce is a game changer for me! My husband is not plant based and he loved it also. The recipe was very easy to make and we had all of the ingredients on hand. And about the salsa thing-I warm mine up in the microwave just a little to more of a room temperature. It just tastes better to me that way.
Andrew, a teacher a long time ago taught me the peaceful version of the "Kill 2 birds" saying. I think you and all fellow vegans will like it: "Feed 2 birds with one crumb."
Yummy! Tip for making guac the night before: put cling wrap right on top making sure it touches the entire surface and then chill. Guac turns black because of oxygen. Also don't skip the lemon juice and the salt.
Ok, I love guacamole so I had to learn the trick for keeping the guac from turning black. I used pretty much all the ingredients Mr. Bernard used except omitting the cumin… First, I used a glass bowl with a plastic lid. Next, you wanna make sure you don’t double dip the utensils you are taste testing the guac with. Finally, you want to smooth the guac in the bowl (like icing a cake). I guarantee your guac will not be black the next day. You’re welcome 😉.
Alright, Andrew, sir . . . mad respect. I am going to try butter beans in my next batch of vegan cheese sauce. I did NOT know of this secret ingredient! Thank you.
Seriously, Andrew, you don't understand how LONG I have been on this quest to be able to make a good vegan cheese sauce! I think you just helped me crack the damn code that's been vexing me for years. It's a true game-changer!
i drove myself crazy trying to figure out a good vegan cheese. put it like this... i would have never figured this out unless "all the planets aligned correctly" that day.😅
I am HOOKED on your videos. I love the recipes, slight sarcasm (controlled at best) and your soothing voice. You sir, should be on the Food Network! Blessings to you and your family!
Just found you and subscribed! Love your vibe, your recipes, the style of your videos, just all of it! Thank you for your effort in providing quality content 😊
So I ended up looking for non-dairy game day food today, and I do miss my favorite food cheese…..keeps me going back to dairy sometimes. I’m subscribing and making this‼️🫶🏾 Keep up the great work & stay encouraged 💪🏾
Sharing something Andrew already knows, I’m sure, that helped me keep my knives sharp in this plant forward life... if you don’t want to reach for your bench scraper, just use the top (not sharp) edge of your knife against the cutting board to scrape your oh so beautifully chopped veggies into the bowl. It’s difficult to switch but it’s made a huge difference. Kudos on yet another awesome video! My favorite thing about it? YoU can use all three on the same plate! Genius!
While technically not a dip in the classic sense, toum is easy to make and a flavor bomb especially if you like garlic. It's so good we often use it as a dip replacement of sorts
Hey Andrew,I looove all your recipes, they give me so much inspiration on how to live a dairy free live! However since I live in Europe, I somewhat struggle with the imperial system for measurements. Would it be possible to integrate a unit switch on your website so that I can print the recipes with grams and liters instead of freedom units? :) Thank you so much, you rock!
I have been making a roasted cauliflower, butter bean, and cumin pate for my stepdaughter's vegan boyfriend which he loves but, I cannot work out how to successfully freeze portions. If you have any ideas then please let me know! I will definitely be trying a couple of these. Great job!
Hey, Alexandra! Maybe try, lining a jelly roll pan or bread pan drowning on how much you have with wax paper. Pour into an even layer. Then freezer. When frozen take out and cut into desired sizes. Then pop into a freezer safe bag or container. Hope this helps🤗
I freeze portions of all sorts of stuff in a silicone muffin tray. I have a standard and mini size. They pop out easily when frozen and I transfer them to a bag/other container.
Gosh, the muffin tray would allow me to freeze a mix of individual portions of vegan pates and dips for him. He doesn't cook, his mother doesn't cook so he is very receptive to home cooking!
I will sometimes add mashed white beans or silken tofu to my guac if I am just eating it as a snack to up the protein. I love corn salsa and really want to try your recipe. Thank you for sharing.
Love your video style and the recipes! Definitely gonna try out the nacho cheese and the guac 😍😍 Also very brave to cut those jalapeños bare handed 😂 I usually use fresh garlic for the guac, gonna try the powder and see what I like better 🤔
Hi Ik this is not related to this video but can you make a video on what you make your kids for lunch. I’m trying to feed my son healthy meals when he’s at school. They don’t use microwaves so I don’t know what I can make besides a salad 😫☹️ and pbj
the recipes are linked in the description. they go to my website where you can find all the measurements. you can also just go the the site and type in what you are looking for and get it that way. the site is makeitdairyfree.com
Really? I never have. i have read that it is made with cooked then dried chickpeas. either way, thanks for sharing! ill keep in mind and make sure the bag does or does not recommend for choosing how to proceed.
@@thenarddogcooks not if it is made with cooked chickpeas but the only chickpea flour I've ever used was made with raw so just be aware of what you have I guess.
Commercials? Lol I love that you came up with these dip alternatives, they look so delicious. Again, I’m not vegan but all your recipes appeal to everyone. Thank you for healthy alternatives to otherwise unhealthy dips! Your the man! 👍😁
