Today I’m sharing with you guys a “first look/unboxing/assembly “ video of my new fishing kayak, the Big Fish 108 from 3 waters kayaks.
I recently fell in love with kayak fishing and was turned onto this brand by a friend of mine who actually let me fish off of his Big Fish 103 and the rest is history.
This kayak is built like a tank and can handle some BIG water and adventure. I’m really excited to start fishing from it and filming some great fishing content throughout the year for you guys watching!

Thanks man! Do your research for sure on all the types and brands. Watch a lot of videos and then make the decision on what will work best for you. I especially like this one because it will ride in the truck bed.

Awesome kayak ! I did so much research before buying my kayak. I love the front compartment on yours with the transducer mount. Mine is similar but I mount mine through a scupper hole. Love the 8ball too hahaha

I'm looking at these now to upgrade from my Ascend 12t... some guy in the Outer Banks has a used one with a ton of accessories for $2K, but the new ones are selling at $1800 now, so if he won;t go down to $1500, I'm going new. Cool yak on steroids!

@@TheOutdoorConquest brother i had that Kayak, and i never got it out on the water because i couldn't get that big mother on top of my Jeep 😂had to sale it and got a Old Town PDL 106. The Old Town was much much easier to car top on my Jeep. So kudos to those that can for real 😊... You get a new feel free? Looking forward to seeing that 💯🤝🏼.

Best video I have seen on a big fish. I have your same boat and love it. It’s a big sob! How you getting it to the water? I’m building a trailer for mine now. I’m curious to see what others have dine

Thanks man I appreciate that! I love this thing! Currently working on a video edit where I took it vertical jigging for walleye on a high current river. Normally I launch it close to the water and if need be drag it on the skid plate. Otherwise I use the c-tug cart. I load it into my truck bed and haul it around like that.

In 2021 I bought a big fish 103 and had it for about a year I ended up selling it and going with an OldTown autopilot but if I would have bought the Big Fish 108 probably still have it but never even bought the Old Town

Holy smokes that is the Cadillac of the yaks!👌🏻👏🏻 Great walkthrough, that thing is built like a tank (for catching tanks). I can’t believe how deep the hull drops and that pedal drive is as solid as a MinnKota trolling motor. It’s only a bit heavier than my skiff (it’s 125) and love that molded front handle. Do you have a cart for it? I can drag the skiff and roll it, but I don’t know if I could haul that weight around. When you say dry weight is that with or without that extra 20 from the pedal drive? Nice looking craft man, congrats!👊🏻💥🎣

I refer to it as the Ferrari of kayaks! The 140# is without the pedal drive. I do have a cart and in my next video I sort of show it off. I use the C-Tug kayak cart if I have to drag it on a hard surface. It makes it virtually effortless to drag around. Thanks for watching man!

I tried to stick some Watersnake stickers on my Big Fish 120 last week and they fell off before I even got them wet. The rough texture of the Kayak didn't allow them to stick. Oh well!

My pedal drive is stating to wiggle a little. Any idea how to snug down drive

So the set screws aren’t holding it down very tight? What I’d suggest is maybe some kind of seal to help seat the pedal drive or something between the set screw and the pedal drive to help hold it down better.

Just had a brand new delivered to me 20 min ago and they forgot to put the pedal drive with it..unreal..how could that happen..so far I'm not impressed.
