Yea most other gems make more, ruby is only good for ironman plus to make decent money you need divan with perfect gemstones and a minimum of 4/4 powder you basicly earn the same amount you would powder mining at the goblin hideout with decent rng

Lol I use composter, slime minions, mithril and titanium forge, and I buy a cookie cuz I make over 9000 bits (I spent money on gems before) then use the bits to make plasma buckets and flip it for a profit.

More like 40m/hr hypermax with mf gemstones. Some people can push 50-60 with jasper but structures are rare and cost like 30m @@SomeCowguy

How? Maybe your route is bad lol, I finished with powder mining 5m/6m and did my first hour of ruby mining today, 22m in one hour, 0hrd practice and still more than you? Route issue

@@notKurohigeI’m npc selling, not selling to the baz and I’m talking about normal mining, not during Cole. It’s possible it’s a skill issue but I doubt it cus I spent a decent amount of time perfecting my route and it is about 99% up time, the only time I’m not mining is for etherwarps and those take a fraction of a second so I’m holding the left click pretty much the entire time. Also I looked at people doing mining guides and they were doing the exact same thing as me and making mine or slightly less money Idk without knowing more about what you’re doing I can’t know if there is some super obvious thing I’m overlooking but as far as I can tell the mathematical maximum you can make an hour selling to the baz with maxed gear is like 23m an hour

@@notKurohige​​⁠I have tried jasper, i make about 40m an hour but we’re talking about ruby. The max mining speed with just equipment and bal is 7666. With potion effects and events like better together you can sometimes get that above 8000 which is the cut off for mining one ruby every 12 ticks so let’s be generous and say you are manning one ruby ever 12 ticks. Skyblock runs at 20 ticks a second. 3600 seconds in an hour multiplied by 20 is 72000, so that’s how many ticks a second there are. Divide that by 12 (how many ticks it takes to mine a block) and you get 6000. Tha max amount of ruby you can mine with the best equip and without including moving from one vain to the next. The max mining fortune without events, with a hyper maxed setup is approximately 2560.2. The max pristine is 18.63. That gives you an average of 1254.3667662 drops per ruby (including pristine). Multiply that by 6000 and you get 7,526,200.5972. Each gem can be sold to the baz for 3 coins so multiply that by 3 and you get… 22,578,601.7916 or just under 23million coins in an hour. That is with a hyper maxed 2 bil plus set up. Nobody is making 60 mil an hour, even during Cole, and I think it is pretty misleading of mossy not to put in his video that this mining method requires an event that is hardly ever on.

Ya its possible with the right crop, mooshroom cow, and max ff (like full mossy, recombs, and 1b collection/hoe max ff).
