I go into schools and teach girls subtle makeup techniques. Unfortunately we can't stop them applying it so young, so if they are going to wear it then we may as well teach them how to do it properly :)

Awwww. I pull my lashes. I love it!! It's a sickness, I guess, but it started with pulling clumpy mascara off in the evenings. I now have bald spots. Rats!

Im happy that some people like natural eyebrows. There are so many people at my school that fill in their eyebrows and have the "perfect" shape. I usually don't fill in my brows, but I'm watching this video because thanks to the people at my school they lower my self confidence even just by eyebrows. Im not trying to say that its not right to have eyebrows on fleek or anything, but i feel like you must have perfect eyebrows and makeup anytime like at school. I don't think I've had so low confidence before.

just a word of advice from someone who was in the same shoes as you in high school, they don't matter. it may seem like their opinions do, but in the grand scheme of things, nothing anyone says matters, as long as you're happy with who you are.

Finally! A tutorial by someone who does a brow the way I like them! Every time I go for a wax I'm always explaining it the same way: natural, subtle and very long; not too thin but not Brooke Shields in 1980; no sharp pointy angle at the arch… I always seems everyone is so extreme with brows, either under or overdone. Thank you 100 times over for showing me EXACTLY how to get what I want and which products to use. One of the most enthusiastic subscriptions ever!

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I've been wanting to start filling in my eyebrows, but all the other tutorials I've seen have emphasized, "First use this color, then this color, then this liner, then this powder, then this concealer," or something of the sort. It was all too much for me to process, but then I found your tutorial and it's absolute gold. One product per look, each one nice and natural-looking.

I have been looking for several days for a NATURAL eyebrow tutorial (I am NOT into the excessively dark drawn on fake looking brow [I'm also 45yrs old] and that look to me is just plain scary ). This is what I've been looking for, again, Thank You for making this video tutorial. I'm a late bloomer when it comes to makeup and I was having a hard time with some of the trends that have been going on with makeup (not into all the harsh lines, excessive layers [full glam look for everyday], and extra dark drawn on brows). I am madly in love with this tutorial ! Being much older with spare, thinning brows filling them in has been a nightmare. Thank you for being so thorough and having really beautiful close ups. I know it's been massively fashionable to wear the ombre brow, carved out so it's super defined, which I think it amazing in it's own right but not everyone will want to wear that style. So I thought it was important to create this tutorial for women like yourself, that would like to see close-up how to create brows that look natural. Thanks for the positive feedback :)

It's 2017 and the eyebrow craze has apparently not died yet. Don't get me wrong, I love naturally thick eyebrows, but dislike it when people with thin eyebrows draw on sharpie lines the size of Texas. I very much enjoyed how you chose to soften the edges with the spoolie (sp?) at the end. :) My favorite looks were the first two as those are softer. +Shonagh Scott

Shonagh, thank you for a quick, simple & easy tutorial! I rarely "like" or comment on makeup tutorials but your tutorial was so well done. The method was quick, simple & easy to do. Most other tutorials suggest unrealistic methods of using way too much product & spending way too much time. But, I prefer a more natural look, as well. girl i just wanna say thank you so much! i usually shade my brows too dark (considering my hair color is deep black so that’s my eyebrows color too) and my mom usually tells me they’re too dark, which i completely agree with. i gave up filling them in until i came across this video. i use the pencil and the powder together and then clean them up with a little concealer to get the perfect brow! they don’t look to dark, they don’t look like they’re not filled in, they look perfect. thank you! i gave up hope until i found this video!💛

I'm so happy I let my eyebrows grow. I used to tweeze them so much that I wouldn't go out without having them filled in. It'd take me almost 15-20 minutes filling & arching them to get it perfect. It takes me less than 5 minutes to do my brows now. I've been going for the natural look lately. Just foundation & a touch on my brows. Thanks for the tips!

dalaimama Ahh lovely, so much more simple when you've got fuller brows isn't it. I feel sorry for people with super sparse brows. I just advise them to get a stencil for quickness.

The first one, that's how I do mine. My brows are wide at the front so if I used a pomade and did the IG brow I would look absolutely ridiculous. I am a fan of the no-makeup look. BB cream, mascara, natural brows and either lip balm or a gloss that matches my lips(which I got so many compliments because the glosses I use are so close to my lip color my lips look plump and shiny and pink). I love this tutorial. It's my favorite on RU-vid

Yes I'm the same, I'm not against the carved out looking brows or the fuller looking ones, it's just my personal preference are these 3 styles - all on the more natural side. It's the heavy drawn on ones that I'm not a fan of. I think lots of young girls have gone a little OTT with them.

Thank you for your response earlier, I have gotten my eyebrows threaded and love it but here in Puerto Rico, it is very expensive since there are not many places that do threading, here they charge almost $12-13 a session. Again thank you for your extremely informative videos, I am learning a lot.

Jossie Castro I'm pleased you took my advice and it worked out for you. You can always tweeze them yourself now following the shape they lady has threaded for you. And then maybe every 3rd or 4th time that your eyebrows are due to be tweezed you could pay to have them threaded & re-shaped. the natural brow is so hard for me, I have the brow pencil she used and everything. I have the dip brow pomade as well. I try so hard for natural brow and it never comes out right.

Oh my goodness, I am so obsessed with you Shonagh!!! This brow video is exactly what I have been looking for! Thank you!!! Question... What is your fave eyebrow brush to use for powder and/or gel? Do you use the same one for gel liner? I am looking for the perfect one that has just the right stiffness of bristles, as well as thin enough to get a nice, crisp line... Thanks again! 😘

Heather Bailey Thanks Heather :) The two I use in this tutorial are the only 2 I ever use for brows. I've listed the names of them in the description bar. And for liner, I never use angled brushes for the application - I use a paint brush, which is the one I used in my eyeliner tutorial :) It's from Hobby Craft.

Omg love it alot of ppl tell me they love my eye brows just the way they are but I like to fill them in alil just never knew how I haven't worn make in years and years just started with so many makeup products out der and different shades and colors to get the right one for your complexion too thank you for sharing this video 🙏❤️💯👁️

Deborah Hennessy Thank you! I was lucky that thin brows weren't a fad in teen years, so I've not over plucked them like many people the generation above me did. I don't naturally have big brows, but I'm happy with what I have though :)

Like how you give options for everyone's taste, I do natural looking eyebrows & I've been trimming n keepin em in shape since they r already dark cause im growing the areas I used to pluck n just fillin em in for a bit more even look thats it, n I love it, I would hate spend most of my time on eyebrows (for an everyday look) I rather spend time on eye makeup haha..btw I could totally lose myself in time w that! Jessica Diaz Same as me, I couldn't spend all that time doing my brows! I don't like people to see me and notice I've penciled them in. All about the natural look :)
