How about the other updates after you did this method? Did you have to keep doing this for every single driver update or did the GeForce Experience app just started to work fine after it?
Hi I can’t seem to update mine It’s still using the version that came with the laptop but there are newer versions. Have tried many things but no solution. Anyone facing same issue?
Thank you! I used the second way. I do not have download folder under NVIDIA Corporation but the file was previously downloaded. Used search to find 537.34 and update was a success.

(1) I used the Task Manager to cancel all NVidia processes. (2) I disabled my integrated Windows real-time threat monitoring, (3) I tried the 2nd option, which was to run the installer manually as Administrator. This worked, finally. Thanks for the help!

thank you for you help alot ,you dont know how much stress i had before this , i thought my computer was broken for ever . the very last option worked as i couldnt find none of the fikders you said to open , nvidia seemed to update there folder names so last option worked , now i can play starfield at best capacity !! thank you so much
For anybody who might find it useful, I had to update my geforce experience. If you run it as an admin it should automatically check for updates (mine just started updating when I ran it as admin) so maybe try that aswell.

Hi! I have problem that nvidia geforce is installing driver, at end it says that driver have been installed but it still shows that the same driver can be installed. I cant even go to options in geforce experience and in-game overlay isnt working
But there is no update option, right? GeForce has the option to re-install the current version. If it's not causing any problems, don't worry about it.
Thank you! This has been a real struggle for me. Despite being a young guy who uses tech a lot I cannot get a handle on it, and I simply could not figure it out from online tutorials until this one. Turned out all I was really missing was the option to show hidden files haha.
ii was looking in my folders, and i realized i dont have a lot off these folders, such as programdata folder, i think i may have deleted them or somehting..
None of these worked for me, when i tried number 3 it said it can only be installed on computers with a nvidia gpu (MINE LITERALLY DOES HAVE ONE, its an asus tuf a15 with the nvidia 3050)

I tried a few times to update the drivers but in the computer settings it always said it was. With your help I managed to find the folder that had been in the secret archive since October with a new update. thank you very much! I was about to give up on the game. I love the AC saga and I played them all and it never crashed or anything. But this one was closing on its own. once again, thank you.

the 1st didn't work but the 2nd did. thank you so much! Also I want to add, if you have an ROG laptop, before downloading the driver make sure your GPU is NOT in the "optimize" setting. switch it to standard. You should find this in your armoury crate.
2nd solution worked out for me. Thanks for the video; it's been frustrating me that the latest update didn't work, and this saved me that bigger headache.
@@mks-mobile every time I try to install a driver the installer app closes in less than a second, I also tried the setups and nothing worked unfortunately, and when I try to download it in the app it just says try again error
