An underrated strategy for starting a type beat channel is: Start many beat channels at the same time, all in different niche or focusing on specific keywords. Try to post a few beats on each consistently. Wait till one blows up, then ditch the others and focus on that one. Might be a lot of work at first, but it will save you time down the line!
i producer for over 5 years and no one heard anything except for my friend who is an artist but he isnt a really good one so he couldnt do the style i was creating, thank you for this as soon as i saw the first 30 minutes talking about beatstars something lit up, im manifesting this shit and every day i find myself finding some key information that i wasnt looking for specifically, just setup my page uploaded a couple beats setup my mapping and links and everything, i produce, record others, mix, master and also make my own music yet made no money at all cause i did it for free for the last 7 years, Appreciate you for this video

bro, I do guitar loops, do you think it’s worth I create a shopfy store focused on guitar loops and run ads for instagram? there is demand for it? because of splice and other platforms think maybe producers don’t buy guitar loops... what would you do?
when they are putting it up on beatstars there's a section that says "collaboration" and they find your tag and if they put it in it gives you a notification to accept the collab status, and then they put it 50/50 split

How would you tackle building two separate audiences of artists/producers? Like if you’re always posting full beats as well as kits how do you keep the ads effective?
I believe he or someone else has mentioned this before and they say to have two different "brands" (instagram, RU-vid, website) for each. You don't wanna mix up your audience and try to sell beats to producers or sound kits to artists etc
This is kinda ridiculous cuz people won’t realize that they need to not only spend time making new fresh beats every single day and upload them. They also must make new videos and post them every single day along with Ads and pay at least $5 a day every day that adds up during time and you must already have this money set aside, not only that but you need a huge email list and 1,000 new subs every month lol should I keep going? Also you must DM producers every single day and get at least 1 sell per day to even have a chance at $10k a month 😂 We are doomed. This only happens for the select few that really want it bad enough. Otherwise I see somebody grinding for a full month and just giving up once they have a bad month. Man, talk about a real grind. You are crazy. Plus you make RU-vid videos like when do you have time for all this you are literally promoting products more than actually spending the time to make them. That’s not how most producers can work. Most of us are not marketing geniuses 😂 Plus you left out a million other fees like monthly charges to upload on beatstars etc. you are already spending over $200 a month just to promote yourself without any sells at all yet. Even one sell wouldn’t cover what you’re putting out there. Some people don’t make a sell for months. But you want them to pay for Ads anyway? I see some folks losing money fast this way since a lot upload every day to RU-vid and don’t even make a sell for months. Shame to put in all that time work and money and effort for it to just fall extremely short for most of us.
Ok but what happens if you send the same beat to some artists (or you send the same beat by email to other producers to make 50/50) and there are 2 or more artists that want the same beat? Like I send one beat to 2 producers to make the 50/50 split thing, both of them say they want the beat, I can’t send the same beat to 2 producers right? But if I can’t I should have 100 different beats for every person, like how should I do?

Very helpful video, thank you! It would be cool to see how you are trying to make money from beats from scratch on a new account, within a month, several episodes are possible. It is very important here not to burn these accounts, because many launch such sections, after the first video they show their accounts and they immediately start selling, I would like to see the cleanest possible challenge.💫

I would love to pull off one of these videos too, the only problem for me is it would take a shit ton of time, and on top of everything else I'm working on it would be too much to make a burner account and start from scratch. However, I'm starting pretty much from scratch on my new type beat channel "Slaughter SZN" you should go check it out so you can see how it grows!
i don't have a conversion rate tbh bro, i look at it like a relationship, it's a numbers game to a certain extent (if you know more big people you get more big collabs) but I don't look at like "if i send 200 emails, i get 5 collabs" but I'd say when i was all in on this i was getting about 5 BIG collabs a day
I make beats using the Drum Pad Machine app and post them here on my channel. Definitely gotta learn how to make beats from scratch. I already get ideas coming to my head quite often, but I gotta step it up!! Thank you for this. This’ll help me make that transition to BeatStars. I’ll be watching more

there's no way! its part of the game that some people will fuck you over, but you gotta just keep it movin, don't let the fear of missing out on a few sales stop you from potentially getting sales from 1000 other beats you would have gotten if you sent your stuff out! most people will add you for 50/50!
I love your content. My issue is I’m married with 4 kids and me and my wife both have a 9 to 5 and my wife has a business on the side. I don’t have a lot of time to do this stuff. But if i can make a decent amount of money i can quit my job and go all in. I’m just trying to figure out how much this i can do to get there before i go all in

Kavi, Sup , big player! I have a question. in video, you said that the second step is targeted advertising on Instagram for sample packs for $ 30. and then the question arises. Samples from the pack for $ 30 will bring you income or they are free royalties. and then how to properly write to people what they get?
the way i do it, is "royalty free for online beat leases" so they pay the $30 and then they can post it on beatstars and keep their sales. But if drake hops on I'm still getting paid 😂
btw now you gotta be ahead of everyone and invent new strategies cause now everyone is gonna be selling sound kits, everyone is gonna drop packs and shit, while new shit gotta come up, it's difficult but it's the only way (btw whats's that plug-in with sounds that you showed in the video called?)
it sounds like you need more "reps" i used to struggle to make one good melody a day, now I can make a crazy finished melody in 45 minutes or so, i got there by making 3-5 loops a day for years until I naturally got faster! lil tip, give yourself a stop watch and give yourself "drills" or practice, like "okay i only have 1 hour lets see how far i can get this beat" maybe the first one you only get 1/2 done, then in a month you're 3/4 done, then in 2-3 months you can finish a beat from scratch in an hour!
the question is: how can you sell the kits using instagram ads if you set the audience to automatic?? most of the time I used "automatic" on instagram ads, It didn't work for anything. Let me know what can I do
this is somewhat tough, it's possible your audience isn't the right kind of people to target for what you are trying to sell (if you have 1000 rappers and 100 producers following you, you shouldn't try automatic audience for a loop kit, because it will target people more like the 1000 rappers that follow you) or, it's also possible your product (beat,loop kit, etc) is just not good enough to make people want to buy it. This is a harsh reality but normally my BEST selling kits have AMAZING previews, and my kits that lose $ or break even are just "cool"
yea, can't deny that it's hard, but you have to decide if you are gonna let that limit you, or if you're going to find a new way nobody has done to make money! try to make the best out of the hard situation!

yes! i'm working probably 12 hour days right now 4-5 days a week, and a lil less 2 other days, and then one day off completely. I typically do one 12 hour day of business, one 12 hour day of music, then a 12 hour youtube day, etc etc!
