Tbh it's basically just a pyramid scheme, starting from producer down. Not everyone can be successful in the business, so you're hoping you can hustle and ensnare enough new people into the game to sell kits to kids to continuously justify releasing them, and the cycle continues. If, in the hypothetical EVERYONE could be successful, which they can't be through kits because if those kits were that fire the sauce wouldn't be thrown away for a couple dozen bucks, that you couldn't sell your kits, thus make most of the income. So it's a producer pyramid scheme essentially. You're basically praying people don't become successful so they can keep buying the kits.
Who do you think are buying kits from producers with no real industry clout? People who can afford it, or people who can't really, but are trying to get there?
There’s so many other aspects a young person could get into. I’m just thinking from a business owner perspective as I have rentals. Some of which up and coming artist and entertainers have rented from my Airbnbs alone. What about the vans that move high profile celebrities? Armed security? Jewelry? Some of you with connections, might be able to open a a popular night spot, club, venue that those celebrities would want to frequent that could get you in with meeting multiple celebrities as they travel. Maybe instead of being the producer.. be the guy who oversees the studio and hires producers. Leverage connections to get starting artist in and find out how you can get closer to celebrities whilst also being profitable. You could run a business who would have the props ready for a rap video.. location, props, women 😂.. The possibilities are endless.
This is what happens when you incorporate real drumming mechanisms into Beats. That call and response for example is a typical thing you’d do when having live drums and Percs. And also found on nu metal djenty style records
