Corn starch should be added to a small cup of cold water , than add it gradually to your soup while simmering and keep stirring until desired thickening.
Great tips!! I learned from Jacques Pepin to use instant mashed potatoes as a thickening agent..unpopular but pretty effective. Can't wait to try the coconut milk tip.

Hi, So i took out a small bowl size of hot liquid and added 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour then mix them like 30s. But when i add back to the soup they all get bubbling like almost spill out, after that the roux sticking on the surface. The soup in the pot was boiling i wasnt sure if thats the problem? Can you tell?
