Carried a 5.7 on duty for almost 10 years. Interchanged three mags at qualification twice each year, fired about 5000 rounds through it. ZERO malfunctions of pistol or any mag. Most reliable pistol I have ever carried.
Not yet...I have them loaded up . Since ammo is still on the expensive side . I've not used the 30 rd mags because it would almost cost 200 bucks in ammo.
Had mine for almost two years. Hard to find ammo in the past year or so, finally got ammo last year 2021 and put 200 rounds through it no jam or malfunctions with all 4 mags. Love how smooth the gun feeds the rounds into the chamber. The ammo price though, miss them good old days when it was cheap.
I was able to duplicate what your saying with 17, 19, and 20 rounds in the magazine while racking the slide by hand. This has never happened at the range when firing the weapon. I tried again with a glove on my hand racking the slide and letting go quickly and it no longer happened. For me this is a non-issue. I will always carry loaded with one in the chamber to prevent a situation. Thanks for the heads up. 👍
Do you have the same problem if you load the mag with fewer than 20 rounds? More rounds means more spring compression means more force on the rounds fed first. Maybe too much force can make the gun load doubly.
Just bought one today, should be getting it in a week. The only problem I've ever heard about the magazines are the feeder lips at the top cracking or breaking off. Are after market clips available?
I have had my Five Seven three weeks now, when I take my guns to the range I'm running all three mags just fine. Sounds like this bro has only fired one mag of twenty rounds period. That's scary. Anyone naturally would load all three mags and fire them all versus loading a single mag each time. One thing for sure, if you own this gun you better have the money for bullets to train with. If you really want to impress yourself go drop five hundreds rounds down range in a day. Dame lethal weapon and a shame if you don't know what your doing with it.
Tuan, You are taking tooo long to say a simple thing. The mags malfunction when they are new, They the amo slip out because the oil, you need to break it in. I do like your content, but you are dragging it out too much.
