I’m 9 minutes in and have tears in my eyes. I’m originally from Ireland (Limerick), living in Australia since 2007. This video is a perfect portrait of the country and what exists outside the stereotypical idea of Ireland. You have both done an amazing job with this one and you were blessed with the weather. Thanks also for all your UTMB/TMB videos. I used them extensively in my prep for a successful UTMB 2024! Keep up the great work!
The mountains in Ireland may be small, but they normally rise straight up from sea level. As an Irish man I was worried that our scenery wouldn't keep up with your other incredible content, but it really has. Stunning footage as always 👌
North coast native here. Absolutely fantastic video showing highlights of the emerald isle and the trail running scene. The drone footage of the causeway is beautiful. I look forward to the Wicklow video!
Brilliant video, and it was lovely to meet you both at the end of the Eco Trail. I'm looking forward to hearing about your adventures along the Wicklow Way and Eco Trail event.
So glad you guys got to have good weather while you were here. I really do think when it’s nice out that pound-for-pound, Ireland is one of the best places to be. Only shame I suppose is that you didn’t get the chance to go down south to Cork and Kerry, the Killarney National Park is truly incredible, and to anyone looking at this and considering visiting, please make sure it’s on your list!
I’ve been following you and Audrée on RU-vid and Instagram for a while now but as a Derry woman I was eagerly awaiting this video. I’m delighted that you enjoyed our beautiful country and the film is beautiful. As someone who hikes in the Derryveagh and Mourne mountains and on the Causeway coast , this film has been a joy to watch . And yes , Donegal had its own unique brand of bog 😂. Congratulations on the Seven Sisters . Go raibh maith agat agus Slán Abhaile ! ☘️
Super video. You have done an amazing job. Thank you. I live in Ireland all my life and you really brought out the best of what we have to offer. Well done.
What a beautiful video. I enjoyed this so much. I want to go and replicate your trip with my own runs/hikes/tours. Thank you for a brilliant glimpse of Ireland ❤
I've just enjoyed the most enjoyable relaxing 38 minutes following your journey through Ireland. Thank you both. Looking forward to more of your adventures in the future.
Beautiful film Jeff. My Nan’s from the Wicklow mountains and your video brings back memories of some of my childhood summers. Don’t remember it being that sunny though 😅
I knew your videos of Ireland would be special to me (my maiden name is Killian) but this video brought me absolute joy! Thank you once again for your amazing story telling and videographer 🍀
Another outstanding video by Jeff. Ireland is a beautiful country and you captured it well. Thanks for taking your viewers along and I look forward to more adventures. Keep moving forward Jeff and traveling.
I lived in Ireland for 3 years and I deeply regret I didn't know what trail running was at that time. I miss Ireland so much, even more right now with this gem. Thanks for sharing the adventure with us, Jeff! 💚
Wow that was a really good tour of most of the country. You guys hit some really good spots and covered so much. Great job. I live in galway so if you're ever over again please let me know and I can show you some even more amazing sites for running. But really great to see you guys cover the country and all of its terrains 😊
AMAZING film again! I feel like I’m there with ya both every time! Congratulations on the race & thank you for capturing all the beauty of this world. Keep up the great work. ✌️ ❤
It was great to meet you both and race with you in Donegal. You really were blessed with the weather. Amazing footage and a great promotion for Ireland 🇮🇪 ❤
Once again, this channel produces super high quality content. I mean I know I'm not the first person to say this but you guys deserve all the success and recognition of much larger channels and I'm certain you'll see some pretty significant growth on what is already a wonderful achievement. Brilliant stuff. I'm biased but you should come to the Yorkshire Dales - and if you ever do a challenge there, I'm a thumbs up to help
Been waiting for this one since following your trip on instagram. And WOW you have truly captured the beauty of this landscape. Glad you both enjoyed your stay and I hope to see you back in the future 🙂.
Fantastic video of your stunning road trip. A great advert for Ireland and certainly makes me want to go there soon for some hill walking and sightseeing - not sure everyone is as lucky with the weather.
Just so super grateful for your videos Jeff. Taking us on this epic journey you and Audree are on, the sensational videos and documenting your experiences all over the world, my gosh 😭, it's all just amazing really. Thank you!
Fantastic advertisement for what beautiful trails Ireland has to offer. I got into train running while living in Vancouver and have spent the last 2 years since moving home experiencing the same routes as you. I did the Seven Sisters 55km last year and it rivals the Howe sound crest for views!!
Hey Jeff, this is very random, but wanted to say how cool it was to run into you and Audrey at the Guinness storehouse! It was really a pleasure talking to you briefly and I meant it when I said you both are an inspiration for all trail runners! I’m excited to continue to follow your running journey and see what you accomplish!
Fantastic video! You packed so much in - looked like such a fun trip. You guys inspired me to sign up to the Bray Ecotrail - did the 20k and it was a gorgeous day out, keep it up 🎉
They have really "sanatised" tha last few hundred metres to the summit of Croagh Patrick, in the last few years. Before you just scrambled up the scree, as best you could! The view from the top of Clew Bay is great, if the weather is clear. All the islands are the summits of "drowned drumlins", formed during the last ice age.
Hong Kong really surprised me during my visit. Hiking almost everyday for a few weeks really opened my eyes to the beauty of the area. I hope you enjoy your November trip and I can't wait to see your video! Enjoy as much food as you can as well!!
I ran my very first trail race in Hong Kong actually, some 13 years ago and it really surprised me as well! Looking forward to getting back over there.
Great to see! I've done the Kerry Way Ultra Lite before and am doing the Waterville 130km to raise money for charity next May. Only my 2nd ultra. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Ireland!
I live in Westport, you really captured the magic of Irelands wilderness 🎦 Id loved to have met you both. Only downside here is you butchered the pronunciations 😅
Likes it when Jeff hibernates in the edit booth, but also likes your adventures. Thanks for sharing your time in Europe with us, what a beautiful place Ireland is, and hope you have a great time in Hong Kong when it gets here. Thanks Jeff, helps a lot!
Awesome video as always!! Love the images you capture and the stories that you tell. Any chance you will make a "have Fun in Beautiful Places" t-shirt?
@@audreelafreniere2258 Or for us coffee lovers: Espresso in Beautiful Places. On a different note have you heard of the Lofoten Ultra? Just saw one of their promotion videos from The Arctic Triple.
It’s from our shop! May not be viewable on RU-vid in some regions, but you should be able to order internationally from our main store here: shop.jeffpelletier.com/
Thanks for all the great travel film. Enjoying them. I was wondering if your cam settings are slightly on the overexposed side? They have a bit this whitish touch.
I filmed this with 5 different cameras, some with autoexposure and some without. Is it the shots in the fog during the race that you’re maybe referring to?
