I haven't been to Ohana breakfast in about 7 years, so I can't talk to recent experiences. But one thing I really liked about it when my son was little, was getting served family style. It's hard to do buffets when they are so small. It might also be good if you have members of your family with mobility issues who would also struggle with buffets.

I haven't been to your other two, but you are 100% right about Ohana!

Best character breakfast with all the fab five was on the Empress Lily back in the 90’s. Not there anymore but it’s was so magical. Fav now is Toppelinos at the Riviera. I agree Ohana breakfast was poor.

We did the ‘Ohana breakfast because my daughter LOVES Stitch. We also had to wait over an hour to meet all the characters. We sat there waiting after finishing our food. It was slow and frustrating and expensive. And the food quality reminded me of an institutional cafeteria, like hospital or school food. I did not enjoy it but my daughter (age 7 at the time) LOVED it and the breakfast made her vacation. This meal is a one-and-done or skip unless you have a Stitch fanatic in your group.

Our experience with Ohana was bad. They sat us at a table 5 and there was 7 of us. Our chairs were touching one another and couldn't push the chairs out to greet the characters. Our server seem like he was stress and that we were a bother. Only 5 glasses at the table filled them and asked for 2 more glasses since there was 7 of us. Waiter completely ignored us and put the food around the table. Had to speak to the manager and then things got better except for table arrangement

O'hana used to be our favorite character breakfast on property. However, we have not been there since before Covid, and I have heard nothing but bad reviews about it lately. Oh well, at least I have my good memories. As for Cape May, I agree that it's not great, but if you are staying at Beach Club, it is convenient, and you get to knock out a lot of character pics in one setting. I think dinner at Hollywood & Vine is better than the breakfast, but I would still only go here during Christmas so as to get pics with the characters in their Christmas outfits.

I don’t say this often, but I agree with this ranking. I would’ve made Cape May number 1, but these 3 as worst is spot on! (Sorry Stitch, I still love you!)

Technically, the Four Seasons is on Disney property. I would love for you to review Capa and Ravello. The character brunch at Ravello is supposed to be outstanding.

‘Ohana (breakfast) was terrible for us last year. After visiting WDW since 92, I decided it was my last time going there. It’s just fallen off a cliff. We did Artist Point this year for the first time, which seems incredibly well received, but honestly thought the food was really underwhelming. Characters were great though.

Artist Point was the pits. The characters were awesome, but the food quality was awful.

Agreed 100% about Ohana breakfast. Not impressed at all. We loved our breakfast at Tuskar House much more…

I thought Garden Grill was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had at WDW. Tusker House is one of the best.

We went to Hollywood and Vine in 2021 and it was our first character dinning experience. We loved the ordering off the menu at that time and had an amazing character experience, but we literally could have eaten our neighbors meals. We have since had numerous other character dinning experiences and needless to say we have not been back to Hollywood and Vine since we heard it was a buffet.

We have not had O'Hana breakfast before since the reservations are always gone, but this info and the previous video is good to know! We are glad to have had positive experiences at Hollywood & Vine & Cape May to at least put them into consideration for future trips (just not this next one though, we have to try new places haha!) 😄

Agree with Hollywood and vine , I could kind of give you cape may Cafe (maybe) but Ohanas no chance , that’s the best character dining at Disney , rarest characters and good food , I think maybe you had an off day I’ve done this one four times and always been a great standard

The Poly is a top resort, Ohana dinner is pretty awesome (most of the time) but my oh my the character breakfast there is terrible in so many ways. Couldn't agree more.

I’m sad to read this! We went there recently and it was the best breakfast of our week! Way better than Akershus!

Do yall do vacations to Tokyo Disney? Thanks as always for the great videos. I have been to ohana breakfast 3 times. The characters and the theming are the big wins here. Also if you get seated next to the windows it’s a much better experience. The food has always been the same (average). We love the POG so that is a big hit with the family. POG is expensive to get or make here in Texas.

What character dining would you recommend for dinner? They freak me out but my daughter wants to do one when we visit in November!

I like Garden Grill and Story Book Dining for dinner and Topolino’s for breakfast. My sister and her family love all meals at Crystal Palace. I do not but it is a popular location. For theming, Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s is good but the food is very overpriced in relation to the quality. However, I will say Cinderella’s food has improved from that it was year’s ago.

I have never had a really good experience with any Character Dining I have been too. My kids, and grandkids are Foodies. They eat the globe, but it has to be good. Tusker, Ohana, and Cape May all disappointed. Chef Mickey's and Chrystal Palace were marginally better. We would rather eat Quick Service Breakfast, a late Table Service Lunch, and a Quick Service Dinner on park days. We do try to eat at the better Table Service locations for dinner on our rest days. Too many times trying to find a good Character Meal only to be disappointed.

We went to Cape May Cafe last spring and it was a FANTASTIC experience. The food was great… lots to choose from. The characters were so fun to interact with. Each character stopped at our table (twice) and my daughter LOVED dancing with Goofy and Donald. These videos are unfortunate as they may dissuade someone from having an incredible experience.

I mean….”unfortunate” is a bit rude. Families can’t go to every restaurant and any family can have a great experience in any of these restaurants. We are just giving our honest reviews about our experiences.

While certainly not my favorite character meal, I have enjoyed the lunches I've had a Hollywood and Vine-mostly due to the great character interactions, but the food was pretty good too. I hope it still is as I have a lunch reservation this weekend. I've never understood the popularity of O'hana. Sadly, that goes for both the character meal and the dinner, but especially the character meal. The most rushed and underwhelming meal I've had on property.

I agree about Ohana. I had fun but definitely not worth the price. I really liked Cape May the one time we went! We had a great server and I loved the options at the buffet. The eggs benedict was amazing and they had some delicious pastry offerings. Sorry you had a bad experience!
