I tried gardening first - I wasn't so good at that, so crochet it was!! My favorite projects are the ones that are practical and require less complicated stitches. I don't care for Landscape or Unforgettable, looks ratty by the time I am done . I am with you 100% on Wool-Ease , feels icky and makes my hands itchy. Not a fan of Pound of Love either , I have tried a few different times and colors ... nope 😒 I love the entire Ice Cream line . I wish the cotton wasn't discontinued .

Hey Mel! I got some Scarfie and I kinda like it. Haven’t tried the other ones yet. But I’m definitely with ya on the Mandala line. I get the Bonus Bundle cakes all the time. One cake will make a big shawl! And I like the Sunset Nights too! Great for shawls!

Never used Landscape or Scarfie. I am currently making a cardigan using WoolEase. I haven’t formed an opinion about it yet. I live in a cold climate and wanted to make a warm sweater. That’s why I chose WoolEase. But.. I’m afraid that when I’m finished, it’s going to weigh 50 lbs.! It better be warm! I don’t mind crocheting with it. It doesn’t affect my skin like it does yours.

I don't like any wool yarn unless it is Super Wash Merino. Even when they put the wool with acrylic it is rough on the hands.

Love Re-Spun in the 4wt and the 6 wt, and I'm not one for any yarn that is bigger than a 5 wt most of the time. I'm with you on Woolease, but only the the Thick & Quick. I try to like it, but it's so stiff that I can't do more than about 1/2 a row on a blanket without my hands just killing me. I love the colors of Lanscape, like the feel, hate how "used" and messy it looks by the time I'm done with a project, when there are so many other similar style yarns that hold up better. Love, love love, LB Pima cotton. Oh my goodness. I don't like the Hemp yarn to work with. It's fine once it's in a project and washed a couple of times. Not a fan of any tape style yarn, Boooooo, yuck. It's twisty, rough, and feels like crocheting or knitting with a plastic bag. I can do that with actual plastic bags, not paying for that experience. Like Touch of Alpaca. Not much alpaca in it, but just enough to make it super soft. Love, love, love LB's 100% Baby Alpaca, Merino/Yak/Apaca blend, Mako Cotton, and their superwash merino. I'm not a yarn snob, but totally appreciate some luxury fibers, with the exception of Mohair. I actually can't stand mohair. It feels scratchy, prickly, itchy, and gives me hives, to go along with making me stuffed up and cough the entire time I'm in close proximity. The new trend to hold mohair with other yarn, just makes me think "Why, oh why, yuck!" The yarns that I have that contain amy more than about 15% mohair have been finding new homes. It can't live here anymore.

I have not used any of these yarns, but two of them have wool, and I have an allergy, soooo they probably aren't for me, either. What do you think of Loops and Threads Facets as compared to LB Landscapes and Red Heart Unforgettable? I love Facets. 😍

You might be ok with landscapes - but if you are incredibly tactile (like me) you may not. I honestly have not tried L & T Facets - I need to! I love Charisma which is an L & T yarn. I have been thinking about you, Ashley! How are you? How was your Thanksgiving?

@@HookedtotheLeft my holiday was wonderful, how was yours? I am currently waiting for my blood platelets to come back up to a normal number so that I can start chemo. They were depleted pretty badly during radiation. I feel good, but the downside is that my cancer has progressed while I am here in rehab recovering. Thank you for thinking of me - you and your beautiful daughter are in my thoughts as well.
