just a tip, you can save a lot of money if you just get a cheap (or used) car seat and build the actual rig out of 2x4's or something. (I've seen PVC pipe as well) doesn't look as nice but it practically works the same for a fraction of the cost. also allows you to customize it to your size and mount the hardware wherever you want.

if you want your t300 to feel good, look up "t300 pinion and bearing mods" and get rid of the stupid plastic pulley gear on the motor that can't handle the 3.9nm of torque without destroying itself and the plastic bearings that make the steering feel crunchy after a few months of use. Should cost anywhere between 10 and 50€ for the parts depending on where you get them. if you have the t3pa pedals you cant get cheap load cell kit mods too for around 50€ (WAAAAAY cheaper than buying the TLCMs). Much better spend than an aftermarket wheel. But to answer your question a bigger wheel will still receive the same torque from the motor, you will have more leverage over it. So you won't loose detail but you will lose strength. You will also gain precision especially at 1080 revolution (this is why drifters use massive wheels). If you haven't bought a wheel at all yet then honestly don't get a t300, spend a little more and get a DD. It's cheaper than ever for a 5nm, especially from fanatec. (1.1nm stronger than the t300rs that I have, I personally kinda regret it given the prices today. And Thrustmaster's quality control is questionable.)
