unhauled about 75 books for my cross country move.. got some bookstore credit, found some good picks at little free libraries, wandered into a Savers with THE best book section and now suddenly i've added 25 books back into the boxes, whoops! one of my finds was also The Bandit Queens, so excited for it :))

New dragon city, love the cover I also love comics, but I often like the Europan ones better. Not so much superpowers going on in those. I’m also planning to buy the adventures of Amina al-Sirafi. It will be the first fantasy book I will read.
@@museumgrackreads I have some Valérian comics, but I haven’t read them yet. I hear a lot of the humour has been lost with the translation into Dutch. It’s difficult to recommend European Graphic Novels because a lot of them are only in French or Dutch and haven’t been translated into English. But if you like history I can recommend Gavrilo Princip I think the English title is Terrorist Gavrilo Princip the Assassin Who Ignited World War I. If you like hard-boiled detectives I can recommend the Nestor Burma graphic novels by Tardi; Fog over Tolbiac Bridge (I don’t know if the other ones are translated as well). If you like humour I can recommend Asterix. You’ve probably heard of those. I see I have also a dc comic I liked very much; Enemy Ace: War Idyll by George Pratt. The artwork is just stunning. It’s about a world war one pilot. I have Charley’s War, a British Graphic Novel about a World War One soldier. I haven’t read it yet, but I hear it’s excellent. It’s a three-part series. So many great graphic novels haven’t been translated into English. It’s such a pity I think. They deserve a wider audience.
