Mine has only gotten better with time and practice. The first year I did this was…. Rough. 🤣 it took a long time before I felt comfortable sharing my journal publicly
The cover and color of this journal is absolutely stunning! I hope that your new spreads will be helpful to you, it's always fun to try something different. That metallic floral washii tape is so pretty 😍 I love your cover page for July, the colors and stickers work so well together🌷
I print them on my hp sprocket mini printer! It prints four book covers per sheet at my size preference straight onto sticker paper! It has a lot of flexibility with sizing and what you use it for. But it’s been a big game changer for my journaling as opposed to printing out whole sheets from my standard printer.
I always find your spread so inspiring, but I have a tiny tiny fraction of your talent. It was so much fun to try to honor your February spreads in my own journal
I am using an undated academic planner as my next reading journal, and I am so excited. I situated the monthly spreads to be my series trackers, each day being a book in the series. Then I can have 12 series spreads, and most of them can hold more than 1 series at a time. And I am loving it. These are some cute ideas, I am definitely going to be using more flora decorations in my spreads moving forward.
Thank you! The floral tape is really doing a lot of the work when I used it and that was more than worth the cost of admission haha. The polaroids bring me so much joy, I needed a space where I could just color willy nilly
I use a color on the calendar tracker for my books too, I usually put the book covers on the bottom of that page with my statistics. I have a reading log which logs all my reading as well. I love mochibujo too.
I've never done a ton of stats in my journal so we will see how I do with the annual view. Its usually just the pages read and books read pages for each month and this year I started doing the reading visualization. Always trying new things!
@@museumgrackreads Thats what i love so much about my digital journal on my boox note air 3c, I can just change something if its not working for me. Ive been using the same chart for logging first on paper and now digital all year. Finally happy with what I have for logging my reading, which is just title, author, amount read either pages or percent, then date, genre, audio or digital, own or borrowed, and finished, unfinished, or dnf. Then my calendar is just I read this day in a color and title with at the bottom the covers of books and then my monthly stats. It's taken a long time to find something that actually worked for me.
Ooooh. I really like your idea for tracking series. I'm usually pretty good about finishing a series but it would be interesting to see what series I have dangling.
Laura, when I tell you, I’ve been waiting for somebody to comment on that song! It is a very specific moment in AI pop culture from 2001 a space Odyssey and I just really couldn’t resist.
