So this 90 yr old put up a respectable fight on this episode. Needing to remove additional weight from my car (for a manual lift to the frame table) I decided to pull the doors and anything else I could. Got the parts pulled but the door pins ALWAYS seem to kick my ass....I eventually pulled them from the A-pillar. For the future...I believe I'll go right to the A-pillar screws. With the Eastwood Screw Buster...it was an easy task....and will avoid unnecessary damage to the hinges.

Coming right along friend. Looks like you have a solid plan for the quarter panel repair. That area should move out fairly easily. The A pillar will be a strip it and see what's under the filler situation. No mountain for a climber. Looking good.

Yes ---- I saw Matt on his channel --- " Iron Trap Garage " --- use the Eastwood Screw Buster ---- was doing a fine job for him --- I ended up getting one for myself --- and yes --- the handle does want to walk out --- Not all adventures --- of working on these old cars will be fun and adventurous --- will be times of words we really don't need to say --- but --- it is ALL in the works ---- Thank You for the video ----- Rodney

Took me awhile to realize I was going too hard with it and caused more problems than I was solving... Eased up a bit and shorter bursts...much better.

I'm guessing you've seen my vid on building a wood kit. Having previously been a woodworker and having the gear I had an opportunity to do my own at a level that I would accept as an accurate representation of original. I f you don't have that working for you it will be a challenge. It us very time consuming to do your own the right way. Thanks and good luck

Yesser..I did try it lightly but the misalignment of the drivers door was so bad...the a pillar is 1/2 off. With that going on I just decided to stop beating on it and just pull it from the screws on the a pillar. But I do appreciate your point. Probably could have on the passenger side...with h eat...but at that point I had decided to do it on the bench.
