This bungalow would only be ok for a joint family who need to be somewhat independent at the same time. It is such a messed up layout. No thought given to what should go where. Plus the money that will have to be put in renovations would be mind boggling.

Good location and big house but it needs a lot of maintenance. The windows are old and need replacing. The bathrooms and kitchen need updating. The walls on the outside look it will have issues with water seepage. I would carefully look at the top floor and look signs for roof leakage. All old houses have that problem, the only question is to what extent. I would speculate that maintenance cost to get this old property updated would be around 10-15 crores. So you are looking at 40-45 crores....better investments elsewhere unless you put more premium on location than is being given.

Honestly speaking, this place is a dump. I guess this high of a price is only because of the area its located in but the house is old, small and nothing special about it. 30 crore rupees = around $3mil US and this place is definitely not worth this price unless you are from the slums and find this place extraordinary.

The access road is very narrow. Anyone shelling 30 cr l for this place would definitely demolish the whole house and build a new one from ground up considering the construction cost would be 1/5 of the house. Plus whatever luxury he wants to add would be additional. Anyway the house is pretty basic and not structured for a single family home. But a great place to have.
