We started with the EB55, then added the AC200Max, solar panel, and 2 B230s. We love them.

I reviewed the EB55 and 120 watt solar panel a few weeks ago. It is a good unit for camping, recreation and for a short term blackout and running small tools outdoors. The only thing I didn't like is the screen does not give you an accurate measure of how much power is left and is divided in to 20% segments. It ran my 700 watt air fryer and will go over that 700 watt limit a little if your appliance needs it. Can be charged with solar or AC or both at the same time. It ran my 50 watt fridge/freezer for over 20 hours which would be great for camping or a short term power outage. It has a LIFEPO4 with long life and it is affordable and you can use your own solar panel so I give the unit 4 stars and the Solarcabin seal of approval.

Bluetti has worked well for us. We have 3 of the PV200 solar panels to pair with their AC300 and 2 x B300 batteries for our small camper. Bedroom on wheels basically. It gives us 6144Wh of power with a 3000W inverter. It is too big for overlanding, but great for boon docking. It is also great for power back up at home. With 2 of them we could power our home. I am consider buying a smaller unit, this one might be a good fit. Safe travels!!

I’ve had the bluetti PS54 for a month now and am very happy with it. It is the functional equivalent of the EB55 (same power specs, ports, input options, cycle life etc) but was available online for under $200 ($197 to be exact). Amazing bargain in terms of WH/$$ and is feature filled and easy to use. I have a 150 watt portable panel than can charge it in around 4-5 hours (depending on weather) and in less than 3 hours from a wall outlet. I use it to power an outbuilding and it runs the lights and various other things (tool chargers, heaters, electronics, Bluetooth speakers etc) with no problem. I love the wireless phone charger feature, and not sure I miss the internet/app feature that seems to be the only thing that differentiates from the EBT line.

Bluetti makes some great products for sure. Glad you found one that works for you at a great price 👍

I just ordered the the PS54 and wondering what kinda of solar panels you got. The prices on the Bluetti are kinda steep and wondering if you got a good deal on the 150 watt panels.

We have had the little eb3a for almost a year. It worked well for travel and charging. I didn't use the AC inverter function for a very long time. However, the inverter failed after only a couple of uses with less than a 100w load. I still need to send it in for RMA, having a problem finding packing material.
@SixOverland
@SixOverland 2 месяца назад
Thats unfortunate. We haven’t had any issues with our EB55. Lowe’s, Home Depot and U-Haul stores have all sorts of packing material. Thanks for watching and hope it all works out for you!

This might be the way to go, but with the video production i think the dedicated 12v system is the way to go. but this would be nice for quick power needs.
@SixOverland
@SixOverland 9 месяцев назад
Absolutely! Fortunately for us, we have a 200Ah lithium setup on the Patriot… but we prefer to reserve that for systems like the fridge, webasto heater, etc. We’ll likely use the Bluetti for camera battery charging. Thanks for watching!

Witam. Mam ten zestaw od miesiąca. Jest świetny. Jednak szczerze ? Dzisiaj zdecydowałbym się zacząć od EB70. Jest minimalnie mocniejszy. Pozdrawiam.

I got the jackery 500 in 2020 and the bluetti eb55 a year and a half ago. The bluetti blows the jackery out of the water and was $150 cheaper.

You think would the eb70s/ps72 717Wh is overkill for general usage or is the eb55 537Wh enough for normal low level usage like trickle charging batteries and occasional power outage running laptop and modem/router. LIke the actual usage video.
@SixOverland
@SixOverland 8 месяцев назад
We’ve not used the eb70s 717Wh. That being said, having extra power available is not a bad thing. I would compare the outlets available and charging options to make a more informed decision. I’m sure either would be work for general use.

I’m replacing the noisy ac power supply with a 12v cigarette plug AC>DC adapter for home use, alongside 200w of solar via Xt60 port. The Bluetti DC7909 port says 10amp, but the provided brick is 8. My options for a fan-less brick are 5 or 8. Am I right that the 10amp would charge twice as fast, which is not an issue for my use, but will 5 amp run cooler/safer? I’m just powering my internet and home security system when I leave home for months at a time. I’d rather be safe than fast. Concerns with 10a amp vs 5?
@SixOverland
@SixOverland 7 месяцев назад
It does charge much faster with both solar and the supplied 110 brick simultaneously… but I can’t comment on using a power supply other than the supplied brick.
@iaing1574

I think charging via the cigarette lighter input at 24V would be roughly equivalent to the 200W AC adapter. Manual states that car charging at 24V is 196W, so the car charger input must be 8A.

I bought the bluetti ps54 unit at walmart. It only charges at 62 watts an hour not what is says. Bluetti C/S sucks they are all asian and you can't understand them. then they want a video S/N part number order number and your first childs name Ecoflow is way better. Good Luck and beware

That’s unfortunate to hear. We’ve not had the same experience with the Bluetti EB55 and PV200. Hope you’re able to get your issues resolved and thanks for watching!
