To my girlies I have been using tretinoin for 3 months now your result will be visible in 2 months with purging and more and more break outs the purging and breakout last for 6 to 8 months and after that your outer skin layer removed and there you have your flawless skin . Remember consistency is the only way to get there. Throw all of your products and use a mild cleanser such as Cataphil (i know that's bit expensive you can go with 1liter one ) and tretinoid.025% and a moisturizer such as dot and keys barrier repair moisturizer And a damn sunscreen
Tretinoin is the most active form of retinol, imo if you are not being consistent or if you are overdoing Tretinoin and going out in the sun, you won't see results. I used to apply crazy amount of Tretinoin in 2019 (when it was prescribed to me for acne and had not become popular yet) and I swear my whole face looked like it was having an allergic reaction. I used to go out in the sun without understanding effects and my face just got burned and got worse. Now that I am more "educated" about Tretinoin, I am able to see subtle differences in how it's working slowly and steadily.

Purging is normal and people should understand and know from the beginning that they will surely experience purging if they use tretinoin or any exfoliating product and it’s worth to experience a little pain when the outcome is glass like skin
I am using tretinoin for a month now and I havent faced purging and why?Mine's sensitive skin so I use double barrier method which is: also this is night routine cleanser(foaming face wash your choice) moisterizer pea sized tretinoin moisterizer next morning compulsary sunscreen(please its a must) I do this on alternative days afraid to use it daily...I am gonna be patient and kind to myskin On the days I dont use tretinoin right now my night routine: cleanser(foaming face wash your choice) moisteizer I stopped using serums and moisterizers from any brand Just using pharmaceutical ones only Also diet: I have been avoiding milk(any diary products like pasta,tea,pizza(cheese)) Have green tea,lots of water and focus on fitness(dance or sports or running or yoga whatever) My skin is a lot better now....and yeah take care girlss loads of love!

Seriously she cover everything that is needed to be known for using tretinoin only. Although I want to know how can we use it with sysalic acid or benzoil peroxide gel.
If chemical peel is done at dermatologist clinic, then a week of rest before following this routine. It will give wonderful results for oily skin. Because post-peel will make these active ingredients to seep quickly into the skin.

@@anniigupta5545 yes, but I think it’s due to humid weather also. I have asked my doctor for a moisturiser for skin irritation caused by tretinoin and it helps a lot. Consult dermatologist for any side effects caused by tretinoin.

I used tretinoin after i got severe acne on my shoulder after Dermatologist prescription and I never used it on my face even after 3 months of use I didnt see any improvement and I stopped using after the Dermatologist recommendation and after 7 months I got diagnosed with severe Ulcerative Colitis without family history or and early symptoms and my Gastroentologist confirmed me that Tretioin caused the UC ! What a terrible mistake just one cream made life upside down ! Now i am a disable person :(

I used this before some time... It made skin very thick and very sensitive...and also for some time ur skin look like glass but after that skin become very worst.....if u want to use do...but make sure it may be risky in long term....
I use tretinoin now for 5 months and my skin still looks like your before picture. To anyone reading this, please don't expect your skin to look like that in 30 days. I am not saying that she's lying but it wont work like that for most people. It usually takes months to see good results. Most people experience a purge which makes your skin worse at first. You just have to keep using it and be consistent.
same my skin has gotten a little worse.. i had it last year and had the best skin but i stopped and my skin went from best to worst… im using it rn for like 2 months and it’s still the same.. but give time for sure

First of all Tretinoin can be used only after prescription so do not recommend to everyone as if its vaseline. Also it has to be used in the night and next day sunscreen is must.

hello i want to ask i have combination skin with oily T-zone, so is Dr. sheth's vit C a good sunscreen option while using tretinoin and I am currently using plum green tea moisturizer is it sufficient or should I use something strong for moisturizer and lastly can you suggest me some facewash which goes well with it.

I've been using tretonoin for 7 weeks. And my purging is bad I dont think you get the glass skin within 30 days it works slowly. You are supposed to give 12 weeks atleas to start noticing any effects

Yes but don't expect results in 30 days, this video is total bullshit. Normally, tretenoin takes at least six months or year to show results. In that picture, With that much acne it would take over a year to get skin like that. Acne is easy to treat but acne scars aren't. And there is no way acne scars can completely heal in 30 days.

I have been using tretinoin 0.025 for a week, Every other day(I have used it 3 times in week till now) But there are no side effects.. Not a single pimple not a dry peeling effect. Now I am not sure if I should start everyday or stick to it(every other day) I am not sure if its even working or not (Update: it's been more than 3 weeks, switched to every day no side effects, nothing, no sign of improvement skin gets more oily after applying tretinoin even though I use moisturizer thinking to switch to 0.5) will keep updating. Thank you Update 2-its been 2 months now I have switched to everyday(it's been 2 weeks now) no sign of improvement. Skin is much oiler I don't think 0.025 is working for me.

It happen to me too. Buy tretinion gel 0.1% gel . My face cleared immediately i changed to 0.1% gel. I mixed it with moisturizer. Am enjoying my face now
Always add a disclaimer that you need strict sun protection with this drug. It’s not an OTC pharmacy product. Been seeing a lot of patients with retinoid dermatitis since they are using tretinoin unassisted.

Well im uisng tretinoin niacinamide azelaic acid for almost 3 months...so far o dont see any effects, however my dermatologist told me to continue using it as the effects will show later. I dont really have marks or scars but I have only 1 very light dark spot due to the sun. I was always very cautious about washing my face very well the next day and applying sun screen..however my dermatologists said that this product is not sun sensitive and 😒...but Im glad I heard my inner voice and was very careful about sun screen and avoid sun exposure however is hard now that its summer. Cant wait to see if the results gets better in fall or winter
@soul_with Yes...I gave up. Did no see any changes and I stopped seeing that dermatologist. Right I'm crazy busy with my kids and life, so I'm taking a break from finding a new dermatologist
