And, since Nintendo likes adding in variants of course elements like spike tops and mechakoopas that didn’t have any, we could have a spiked variant of dolphins that we couldn’t use to platform, unless we had Yoshi or something.
@@theladiescallmesona Sushis are known for swimming, if you’re talking about those sharks. I’m talking about dolphins that would still jump out of the water, but they’d have a spiked design like how skipsqueaks have a thorny purple counterpart.
Honestly what i want more than anything is actually one of the most unique power ups ever, the mini mushroom. Imagine the sorts of things you could pull with that, and realize if they added mini mushrooms that means they would add all the mini blocks and mini pipes and all that, secret parts of levels, hidden one ups, all using the mini mushroom. Then all we need is alternate paths and warp pipes for in super worlds and the mini mushroom could truly be the greatest thing in mario maker! And thats not even mentioning how you can give enemies in the game mushrooms to make them big, we could also give them mini mushrooms to make them small, imagine tiny bowser!
That would also open the door for 1. Tiny Big World style levels and 2. Pile Driver Goomba’s, and 3. Those mini goombas that slow you down and grab you
@@alysdexia you misspelled your name, its spelled “dyslexia” because you clearly have it with how incoherent your comment is. I don’t think ANYONE can decipher whatever the hell you were trying to say.
I think some main enemies that *NEED* to be added to SMM3 are: •Fuzzies •Swoopers •Fire Snakes •All hammer bro variants (And, in all game styles) •Urchins •Spiny cheep cheeps (as well as porcupuffers in all game styles) •Ptooies (also stalking piranha plants and river piranha plants) •Spinners (and maybe roto discs to make better SMB3 levels) •Munchers in ice (more so a variant than a new enemy, but I still think they should be added) •Torpedo Teds •Actually big boos (ones the size of banzai bills, not puny big Goombas) As for other enemies? I’d appreciate them, but I think the ones on my list would help the most in making Mario Maker 3 feel complete. There’s especially no excuse for fuzzies, swoopers, and all hammer Bro types to not be in SMM2.
What we really need in MM3: More main world layouts, like: Right-to-Left name explains it all putting the flag on the left side. Up to down, would change the main world to be vertical with a semisolid up in the top left as a starting area, and a flag in the bottom right. Down to Up, again another vertical layout with a starting bit of ground in the bottom left, and the flag on top of a piece of semisolid in the upper right. 3D world (and other 3D based styles) should have placeable 3D changes to the path of the world, essential allowing you to create a 2.5D style map (similar to those in Yoshi games), and now certain enemies like Meowser, Boos, Magikoopa, and Bullet Bills will be able fly all around the track. Also additional sub worlds like: Coin cloud area which would be a special subworld with a day and a night theme for each of the game styles. Secret exit subworld which would have the additional flag. (Secret exits wouldn't need to be reachable and wouldn't count towards a clear check.)
Why wouldn't secret exits need to be clear checked? Assuming the possibility of secret paths in a super world, not clear checking a secret exit could prevent the player from beating the super world.
@@AcousticJammTheGamer I had weighed the necessity of clear checking a secret exit. Clear checking adds tediousness to the upload process. Perhaps clear checking a secret exit should be mandatory for adding the level to a super world, but not for upload.
When Mario Maker 2 was announced, I hoped Nintendo would add Chargin' Chuck to the list of enemies in the game. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Maybe in Mario Maker 3...
Some other enemy additions: *Magmato:* Similar to the Fizzits but not stationary, these flaming tomatoes roll towards mario once they spot him, once defeated their skin and leaves burst, leaving a puddle of deadly lava on the floor, this lava puddles can also serve as spaces for lava bubbles to live in. *Madpoles:* These tadpoles swim peacefully in the surface of the water in large schools, but once mario gets in contact with the water, the entire school of them swim towards him, sometimes even jumping out of the water to bite him (even if this means getting beached and dying over time). They are similar to fish bones, but... better. *Biddybuds:* Goombas with a marching mechanic and are very colorful. Can also be given wings. *Torpedo Ted:* Underwater Bullet Bills. *Blargg:* Like the Charvaarghs, but less deadly. They wait on the surface of the lava with their eyes poking out, once they see mario, they will follow him and jump to bite at any given opportunity. *Flaptacks:* These birds will follow mario up in the air far from reach, once over mario, they will flip upside-down, dive bombing to try to stab you with the spike on their heads. If they fail, they will be stuck for a bit, leaving you the opportunity to defeat them by jumping on their bottom, stomping on their underside. They can also be tricked into defeating other enemies and fooled to make them fall into lava or bottomless pits. They can also interact with some blocks like question blocks and switch buttons, or even smash and destroy brick blocks.
All of my Mario maker 3 suggestions -the ability to go off the grid -invis tracks (obviously) -the ability to color any object however you want -the enemy's that you listed and more -overlapping tracks -more themes Ig that's all for now
I remember in 2020 I used to watch Mario Maker 2 videos all of the time and this was one of my favorite channels from then. Glad to see you’re still uploading
Enemies most wanted; Bony Beetles, Charging Chucks, Grrolls, Fuzzies, Sumo Bros, and Huckit Crabs. Themes most wanted; Beach, Mountain, Volcano and Autumn. Game Styles most wanted; Super Mario Bros 2 and New Super Mario Bros DS.
I would really love: Grrols. They function like spike balls, but ricochet when hitting a wall. Sumo Bros. Chargin Chucks. Eels. I really want more water enemies.
What we really need is to be able to give boss ability’s to normal enemies such as giant goombas with extra health or Koopas that attack using there shell
If you were wondering what mario editor he uses many times, such as at 7:45, its super mario construct. Your welcome :D 10:26 is Super Mario Builder (hard to get without viruses nowadays) 3:40 is Super Mario World Engine (for pc and android)
🔟 Enemies I hope will make it into the threequel of the SMM Series: -🔟 Chuck-Ya(Big Purple Bob-Omb Brutes which can throw the player around.) -9️⃣ Ninji(As an actual Enemy.) -8️⃣ Albatoss(Flying Feathered Fiends which can drop enemies down on the player and the player can stand on them and ride them.) -7️⃣ Parabeetle(The Actual Enemy, Not a Buzzy Beetle with Wings.) -6️⃣ Scuttlebug(Hostile Arachnids which can either drop down from webs or dangle up and down from them.) -5️⃣ Fire Bro(In the Other Styles along with his Sledge Counterpart.) -4️⃣ Shadow Mario/Cosmic Clone(Follows the Player around.) -3️⃣ Madpole(Amphibian Baddies which rule the water’s surface.) -2️⃣ Boney Beetle(Works kinda like a Dry Bones but periodically stops to expose it’s spikes which you cannot jump on while with it’s spikes.) -1️⃣ Phanto(As a actual and place-able baddy in almost all Styles.)
For those who don't know(that included me until recently), certain footage comes from the fangame Super Mario Construct. Timestamps of footage from Super Mario Construct: 0:11-0:32, 1:19, 2:05-2:12, 4:03-4:15, 4:17-4:25, 4:29-4:34, 4:37-4:48, 4:56-5:01, 5:12-5:15, 5:40-5:57, 6:04-6:23
3 Ideas I had for Mario maker 3: *The option to give Mario Hp instead of being based on his powerup. Mario can have 3hp like in Odyssey and when you get hit, you don't lose whatever powerup you have on. This can make it possible to play a whole level as like Link or Fire Mario without a constant stream of power ups to prevent softlocks. *More crossover power ups like Link. Kirby power up can suck up things, spit them out, float throughout the level, and if they can, have copy abilities. Samus power has tons of abilities to think of but she'll at least be able to shoot in different directions. Lots of possibilities. *Maybe some if/then options for MM3. It could work by like clicking a button like you do for sound effects or custom scroll and then put one point on a course element, connect in to another, and choose how they interact with one another. "If" options can be: taken damage, contact with Mario, performs Actions (like Bowser shooting fireballs or snake block activating), or is destroyed. The object on the other end will "Then" take damage, perform action, or destroy. For example: when you jump on goomba, then a cannon will fire or when you activate a snake block, then another snake block can activate at the same time. I know my ideas are probably crazy or unlikely but with Mario maker seemingly have all the basics that can come with creating a Mario levels, I'm worried if three will have enough new and interesting features that would warrant a sequel. I really hope That MM3 can live up to hype and get to see everyone playing and creating levels like they did with the release of 1 and 2.
I would like them to have a "base power-up" selection. Like by default this is where everything returns to, coupled with your hp idea. This way you could make a complete tanooki based level, fireflower based level, etc...
Great list. I'm happy to see someone mention whomps in an enemy video. I loved seeing them in 2D in the handheld NSMB games. I'd also add Boohemoth from NSMB2 to your list. That is one creepy boo I'd love to see again.
Yeah, and to add on with the Boohemoth idea, because that makes the level a basic autoscroller, they could also add the poison fog from the NSMBW and U games!
If sumo bros ever get added, perhaps they could interact with some stuff such as "?" blocks, bricks, etc. And maybe if you shake them after you give them a mushroom then they would turn into boss sumo bro from new soup? Maybe with wings they would be able to jump between platforms and flutter a bit?
One enemy I really want are the Wallops and Walleyes added into SMM3. Wallops could act like Skipsqueaks when Mario jumps near one, but they would also follow Mario left or right when you are below or above one. Walleyes could get the unique ability of popping out of the ground like monty moles. They would patrol left and right.
I think it would be nice if there was that one enemy in SM64 (I don't know what it's called) that stays in place, and every few seconds it grows bigger and shoots fire at Mario. The fire targets him as if it was a slow red shell from Mario Kart.
Another amazing video arrow, and thank you for this kind of video, especially because I now know the names of these enemies. I am definitely hyped for SMM3 if it does come out, which to me is 50/50. Hope we get a teaser soon.
Ima say that we need Lakithunder from New Super Mario Bros for DS & a Bomb Bro from Newer Super Mario Bros Wii, it’d be a challenging battle to fight Lakithunder while Bob-Ombs are being thrown at you.
13:20 I‘d say they are a gizmo because they cant be put on tracks…. but then there are Bullet Bill Blasters, Vines etc… So maybe because they are not an enemy? They cant hurt you
0:13 That's the kind of enemy that would make as many amazing levels as there'll be Little Timmy levels. Boo Block would be perfect material for DannyB's humor.
This is amazing...😳😅 I'll wait for SMM3 in the future, if that happens, though. 😉 BTW, here's my enemies whishlist of SMM3 prediction: - Balloon Boo: An Boo that inflates like an balloon and chases you around, when you're looking away. - Crowber: An flying black crow bird that desends to attack Mario from an incoming swop downwards. - Unagi: An red shark type of enemy, first appeared on SM64. Chases Mario in one direction. - Volcanic derbs: Not really an enemy, but severs as an falling obstacles in the Volcano background. - Mummy Guys: Shy Guys that acts like an Dry Bones. - Sir Shovalot: An enemy that dosen't harm Mario at all, unless he runs into an small corridor. - Blokkablok: An snake enemy from Super Mario 3D Land that has spike blocks and moves in a snake partten. Thistle: An spiky flower element that can hurt Mario, but you can burn it with an Fire Flower.
@@veggiet2009 Yeah, i've played 3D Land, lots of times and i knew this enemy would fit well as an snake block type enemy... Also, because i wanted to make some enemies return, since that game came out. 😄
5:38 oh hey! I remember drawing that pic, it was a long time ago… glad to see it here ^^ Also yeah these are really cool idea I would love to see these in Mario maker 3 9:25 also I love that line! XD “We don’t have enough Derpy Rock Slabs in Mario Maker”
All the things they need to add Bee mushroom Spring mushroom Boulder mushroom (if that's even the name of it I don't know it) Cloud mushroom/flower (was it a flower?) Super mario bros ds style Blue shell Gold brick head Rings (red rings green rings blue rings and gold rings) Gold flower Mini mushroom Boo mushroom ( which will be on a timer because u can vanish and just complete any level while vanishing) Light box The rest of the colored yoshis ? Block Hammer suit Double cherry Mega mushroom P-wing/p-acorn Penguin suit That's all
Personally, I think it would be awesome to have Torpedo Teds, Big Berthas, Boss Basses, Bowser statues, Buster Beetles, Kaboombas, Jelectros, Scaredy Rats and Rocky Wrenches in Mario Maker 3 also. (Yeah, that is quite a lot.)
My list: Fighter flies: It moves by taking small hops. Sidesteppers: Walks in a straight line. Can be defeated by 2 bumps from below. Barrels: These barrels roll down ledges and can be defeated with a hammer or a bump. Smaller Icicle: Can be defeated with a fireball. Fireball: Moves in a straight line, and cannot be defeated with a fireball. Firefox: Same for the Fireball, but cannot fall off ledges. Freezers: When Mario gets too close to this object, the terrain will freeze. The width can be 5 block across from left to right. Mommy Goomba: A paragoomba that’s flies in the air, spawning mini goombas. Mini goomba: A goomba that will get stuck on Mario if it touches him. When the mini goomba falls, it will float down slowly.
So here's my list: -Water/sand/lava geysers (not really enemies, but these would be so cool) -Stretching Piranha Plants -Diagonal moving Twomps -Munchers but now they have the same properties as Piranha Plants (and can be put in iceblocks like coins) -Mini Goombas Fire/Boomerang/Ice Bros -Goombas that hide inside those spike things -Urchins,Spiky Cheep Cheeps,Cheep Chomps,Porcupuffers -Cannons but now they shoot out Bob-ombs -Fake blocks (those seen in ghost houses that rise up and then they crash down on Mario's position) -King Bill -Burners that shoot out flames like normal but do a 180 each time -4-way cannons -Blue and Yellow Koopas
I mean he doesn't have to credit LB specifically but I agree that at least some credit should be put somewhere for SMC and the other fangames that seem to be used in this video.
I was actually thinking of boohemoth, and maybe a king bill could be an alternate skin since they function similarly. Now that I think about it, maybe the balloon boo as well. The balloon boo would make for an interesting challenge where you would have to balance looking at it to keep it away from you, while also looking away to deflate it so you can jump over it and get to a door/pipe/secret that it’s protecting.
I think I know what should be in Mario maker 3. The rip van fish from super Mario world is a sleepy fishy that wakes up to chase Mario if he gets too close. This would go well with a charging chuck variation known as whistling chuck which uses a whistle to wake up all of the rip van fishes in the area
My guess if that if Mario Maker 3 ever comes out, it'll be announced ether this month or the September Direct, have a big trailer in the Febuary Direct, and will come around March 20th-25th of Next year.
I feel like dragon-eels would provide great level mechanics aswell. Of course, it'd make underwater levels more lively. Perhaps even slap some wings on it to let it swim in the air theme to make it fitting there, too.
Regular Chargin' Chuck behaves very similarly to Boom Boom, just without the spiked shell, however we need the alternate types that can shoot projectiles, Broozer is also very similar to them, their additional trait is that they break blocks, they're also slightly weaker cuz a ground pound or singular fireball takes them out instantly, I think stacking 3 Monty Moles on top of each other can make that enemy
Enemies I want to see in SMM3: Waddle Wings Fuzzy Grrrol Sea Urchins Banzai Bill Blasters Fire Snakes Flame Chomps Amps Foos Twimp Hucket Crabs Cheep Chomp Bramball Hot Heads Place-able Koopa Shells
I don't know how many enemies can be used from Mario 2 because it's really just a skin of Doki Doki panic with Mario and friends just thrown in. But I don't really know for sure.
Most wanted enemies Fire bro and heavy fire bro (for the other 4 main styles), Ice bro and Heavy Ice bro, and Boomerang bro and Heavy boomerang bro Most wanted power up or other helpful items for each style: SMB1: Weird Mushroom From SMM1. SMB3: Hammer Suit SMW: A yellow yoshi or blue yoshi who have the corresponding color of shell abilities from SMW NSMBU: Waddle wings Extra Themes and Styles: Themes: Beach, Mountain, Volcano, and Space Styles: NSMBDS (since it's very different from other the other 2d Mario games as since it is very pixelated)
Whats the maker you used to show some enemies in custom scenarios? Because in the showcase of some enemies in the SMW style you either see a little thing in the bottom left corner or a full on menu full of enemies and other things
The flame chomp can be recreated by setting the theme into a theme where wigglers can swim around. You place a wiggler and place a lit bob-omb on it. Then you just place a fire piranha-plant on it
I agree with you list but I'd also like to have more backgrounds for each level layout like we could choose the background we want like castles we can choose Castle theme and background like in Mario U. We can choose a sky castle theme or volcano theme. Also i feel like they should add a Volcano theme and we can choose the hazards if we choose night themes were stuck with a set hazard. I'd also like a bit more freedom so we can get more creative.
We need more dino enemies as it would be nice to see some jurassic themed levels. Also I want spear Toads and savage Yoshis that you have to avoid or defeat which could make for a cool Bowser Jr costume level. Lastly it would be dope to see more Donkey Kong themed stuff added to the game since they are they same world and it could make for an interesting dynamic if they add secret exits as one could feature Donkey Kong as the boss or Bowser as the boss.
What I really want is: Huckit Crab Sumo Bro (Including Boss Form) Chargin Chuck Broozer Bully for all the main styles (as well as a variant that damages the player on impact) Whomp Brambal
Fun Fact: Skeeters shit explosive bombs in NSMBDS. I don't remember if they explode when they hit the ground or if they just phase through it, but it's a blue nuclear bomb with a skull painted on it. That they 'excrete'.
I'd love to see octo-goombas. They defend themselves if Mario gets close. They have a few variants that change the rate of fire. The bone trains like the ones in super Mario bros Wii would add a cool idea to parkour levels The blue spiky cheep cheep would be interesting. They chase the player. The larger ones even try to eat Mario. Add in the clams that periodically close but don't hurt Mario could make for a cool evading level
What I want to see in Mario Maker is Boss Bass/Porcu-Puffer. Having a giant fish that frantically chases after Mario and lunges out of the water to attack would be really good at making semi-water levels more tense, and could give you an incentive to stay out of the water, even if the water itself isn't dangerous. Plus a creative player could even convert the Cheap Cheep (pun intended) into a boss battle with enough ingenuity.
I feel, like what they do when they add enemies now is think of unique gameplay possibilities as opposed to atmosphere. Like pokeys weren’t in Mario maker 1 because stacking enemies was already such a major feature. They chose to add spike not just because the lack of projectile shooting killable enemy options but because his spike ball would be a unique feature u like anything else in Mario maker. And when they added mecha koopa, they added 2 variants which included one that shoot a laser that could destroy long lines of blocks and one that was a mobile homing bill launcher that explodes on impact.
Snowman: Can throw big snowballs at Mario and freezes him. What this would do is make him a two shot for fire attacks, like bowser, and fire bro. Mario can jump on top of the snow balls to either kill the snowman or get to a secret area, and also get to high spots. But in worlds with lava, the snowman would melt.
