I _STRONGLY_ recommend _not_ reading the comments until you have completed the whole exercise. It could affect your outcome. I would also say that pausing between every question is not optional. The video goes much too fast to give you the expected effect if you just play it straight through without pausing, and you would be wasting your time. If you enjoyed the video and you'd like to support my work, here are a few ways: - *Patreon*: www.patreon.com/foolishfish - *PAYPAL One-off donation*: paypal.me/foolishfish - *Super Thanks *- click on the heart with a dollar symbol under the video to leave a tip! - *Book a Video Chat with Foolish Fish*: foolishfish.simplybook.it/ - *YT Memberships*: ru-vid.com/show-UCVtWVX2xirq6Nybf5bumqwgjoin - *Visit my inventory and order from the amazon associate links*: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QKMxEeptfo-A62LrLNa9WkM2TkvigAzChKBcG1sU5Hg/edit?usp=sharing - *ETH wallet*: 0x64a4c581634d5ec16b02caec2224d1db42914f60 All Foolish Fish Patreons and Members get to watch Esoteric Saturday videos one week early without advertisements, get to chat on the FF Discord server, and get to watch my FF News videos a day early, among many other perks :)

Like everyone seemingly most everyone else, the Vast Mind was the quickest, but the Judging Mind seemed to insist he was a king of Binah/Saturn and that the Skeptic was his servant. The Skeptic seemed particularly fond of you, for some reason. It honestly amazes me how much personality each one of them had, and how different they were from one another. This video was more helpful to me than you'll ever know. Thank you.

This experiment is worth taking the time to give it full attention. It reminds me of the inner dialogues involved in Jung's Active Imagination exercise. I found I kept forgetting to speak out loud, as I have more practise in strictly internal dialogue--no vocal component. Yet having the video to follow along with helped remind me to use my voice. Thank you for this lovely experience. I appreciate the quality of material you present in your videos.

The vast mind seems to resonate most with my true self. The answers to the questions came almost before the question was even finished, while the constituent parts of the mind took some time to provide an answer - and even still they seemed a bit unsure as to the accuracy of the answer. When I was a kid I had a jail cell in my head with all these identities locked away and just 'me' running the place. In the last few years I have relaxed that, and doing this exercise just now reminded me how many aspects of myself I have, male and female, strong and meek, forcefull and calm. When I got to the silent witness I was talking about how everyone else is happy to be moving about, but how sad I am for finally realizing I am more than I think I am on first blush. The silent witness commented a couple times on how I was crying with all these revelations of my different aspects actually loving me. Now I have even more parts of me to reconnect with. Thank you!

@@ultravioletpisces3666 You can invoke every part you can name. I don't think they are numbered. Since those "parts" are not actual splits in your personality I believe. I see them of gatherings of psychological aspects being personalized. So if you want to question the part who likes to take a shit ask it. If you like to ask the part who hates to pay the bills ask it. The general questioning in the beginning of each part helps me to ease into it. So invoke whatever part you can come up with. But be aware that some answers you might don't want to hear.

I shed no tears, but I found out that Skeptic has no role in me whatsoever, he's the dude that always slacks off and laughs at others for doing such a meticulous job, the Protector was so-so, the Judge was a fierce fella, but he cooperated, the Desire wasn't as kinky as I thought her to be, and when the Vast came - it was all so ONE, and all was simple and there. Here and there and everywhere, now and always, yes and no, no and yes and infinite * o * I am blown away, thanks again!!! I'm still in that moment at the end. I haven't felt that way for a long time. Now that I'm looking around me, everything seems unimportant. This video has brought together many teachings and practices I've learned over the years - and they especially seem to have ramped up recently. This video has been a gift.💖 I would like to write more but may in the future. What I will say briefly, is that The Vast Mind came up with the briefest (very much so!) and most profound replies. I'm a compulsive comment reader, but will avoid that for now. I may come back to this within the next few days. PS although it wasn't mentioned whether one should or should not do this, I left the voice recorder going while I did this exercise because I suspected it would be "a good 'un" (and I was certainly not disappointed!!!). I'm glad that I did, even though I'm not sure if I will ever read it, but I like to think I might be able to evoke the memory of this experience more distinctly if ever I do read it. But who knows, it should perhaps be one of these experiences that happens and does not happen again.

I have never felt compelled to leave a comment on youtube; I am usually a very private person. Just wanted to say thank you Foolish Fish, as this experiment left me with a unique impression (as compared to other elements of my practice). Never have I experienced some of the many aspects of Self come into such close, and constructive, conversation. My 'silent observer' was so deeply contented that each of these aspects were happy unto themselves while being amongst one another. Archetype has always been an abstract template used to decipher the psyche for me, and always I have dealt with each of them one-on-one. This was different, insightful, emotional, and corporeal. In the state of the Vast Mind at the end and on after the video I experienced an energetic rush/intensification that completely lit me up, opened every pore, stood every hair of the body on-end. I can only describe as "other, but me." Somewhat ineffable. Complete ecstasy, complete stillness. Time eternal yet, singular. The gap between macrocosm and microcosm became much smaller, if only for a moment. I apologize to anyone reading this in it's entirety. Much longer than I intended for it to be. But if anyone reading this can relate, then I suppose my words weren't in vain. Much Love

Each faucet of the mind felt like a balance. Each needed to work together to give us the human experience. I appreciate the skeptic because without it our intuition would not be. Skeptic is our survival that works with our judge and witness. Our vast is the acknowledgment of our creator and all this works harmoniously if we let it. (Just my own thought)

Thank you for this! I can definitely see this working with clients especially after an hypnosis induction, few sentences would have to be tweaked to maximise the desired effect but it’s a fantastic tool . And I agree with you, copyrighting self help ( or self transforming) techniques is not the most effective way to go about it. Thanks again for sharing this.

This is one of the most interesting and potentially therapeutic mental exercises I’ve ever seen. I noticed the patterns in the format structure, and realized why the aspects are sequenced in their particular order. I know someone close to me that could really benefit from this. I will do some research into various additional aspects of personality & role modeling, and possibly add perhaps one additional question to a few. Simple yet outstanding. Thank you for this gift! I was drawn to this channel by the esoteric & demonology. But I like & subscribed because of this post. Congrats Foolish Fish, I see you are LEGIT.

This really seems more like a very colourful psychological exercise more than anything esoteric. That's why it feels so therapeutic, 'cause it does what a therapist does: Puts you in the right states of mind and then asks questions that a simple, but deviously "hard" to answer in these states of mind. This really is starting to just validate my thought that all of esoterism, philosophy, psychology, religion, yogic practices, etc. Are just the same thing, but in different languages, rituals and exercises. All try to answer the same questions and get to same places, but by different means.

The answers/responses from almost every mind-perspective needed time and reflection. I expected my silent witness to be - well...silent. It was the most frustrated and emotional of all. Yet Vast Mind...perfect calm. No thought needed, no upset. No second guessing. No need to "re-state" my answer. No "time" was needed. It knew and I knew... It knew Itself. Without thought. What an amazing experience. Thank you, for offering this - deeply appreciated.

It was super interesting seeing how the different parts of mind talked differently. I learned my controller felt under appreciated, which was useful to learn. As a programmer, my fixer is very happy though ^ - ^ The Vast Mind was interesting, but its the mental place I go to when I’m trying to comprehend what solutions might look like to particularly hard mathematical problems, so it felt familiar to me, which was interesting. This reminded me quite a bit of tulpa type experiences people have. I think that people create Tulpas as instances of a combinations of various minds.

Tremendous exercise - I had exceptional results within minutes of finishing. I walked a short distance to dispose of a bag of physical rubbish. When I walked back to my deckchair, three small feathers were perfectly aligned in front of it! I then observed other people and made a judgement on their presence. Swiftly my inner voice said "judgment". This recall & awareness continued throughout the day.

I practice majick almost every day and meditate almost every day, so each part of the mind behaved through this, and I was already aquainted with the vast mind. But this would work for people who've never meditated or practiced majick, so its very good. Now this video didn't tap vast mind like meditation can or ritual by any means, but for someone who's never experienced such a thing would have their doors blown off and they'd see a glimpse of where they can go, and hopefully spark a little thirst for it.

The fool is mad you didn't want to talk to him. lol. Seriously though, cool exercise. I've been studying psychology for years and only in the last couple have started getting into the esoteric side of things. I've always loved questionnaires and things that force me to learn more about myself. Getting into these states was pretty easy, with the exception of desire, which seems to be a bit low for a myriad of reasons. It's a very good exercise to vocalize these things too because it strengthens our abilities to comfortably talk to others about what are very essential human things to experience. We are all complex multidimensional experiences doing the human life thing. It's pretty neat. What's your favorite 'mode'?

I dont understand this Video...
@LagMasterSam
@LagMasterSam Год назад
@@sillakilla8674 Your mind is conditioned to respond to questions in a way that minimizes effort and risk. It's the effort and risk involved with social norms, protecting your own ego, and even just mundane daily things. People lie to themselves and ignore themselves all the time because it's more convenient both for emotional energy and for ego protection. The characters provide a context, focus, and outlet for thoughts that would normally be altered, filtered, or suppressed by the usual day-to-day operation of the mind. Obviously, people don't constantly walk around talking to themselves like this because that would be counterproductive to most standard activities. But the idea is to step out of the "standard activities" mind that is poorly suited (even oppositely suited) for self-reflection.

I can understand that. In my young life, all my feelings were wrong it seemed. If I was angry, I got in trouble. If I was sad, I got in trouble. Too silly...no good. Sarcastic...I got in trouble. Fear tended to bring an amused smile from my dad. If I voiced how this felt unfair or hurt me in any way, then I was too sensative. The only feelings that I was free to express were positive ones, ie; joy, happiness etc. This may not have anything to do with your experience, but children who are not allowed their full range of human emotions come to the conclusion that their feelings are 'wrong' and that eventually turns into 'I' am wrong, and they no longer trust their own thoughts or feelings, If this is true for you, a qualified caring therapist can show you the pure shining truth that all of the thoughts and feelings you have had, throughout your life were perfectly valid. And you will be able to begin trusting your feelings, and to stop examining every thought you have for validity, and it is truly...like being born again. The process here is called 'Internal Family Systems'( IFS). I hope I can say that without causing issues for channel! Good luck to you! You are beautiful, curious, open and authentic, all amazing things to be. When you are able to lose the fear of speaking your thoughts, you will amaze yourself. Love to you! 💕

My "protector" part was confused that you indirectly assumed through your questions that she did indeed stop doing her job at least once. In general, the exercise worked well for me by just answering those questions in my mind, without speaking aloud. It gave me a weird sensation in a certain part of my head at times, though, and I was fully aware what responded so naturally were *aspects* of me that ultimately are still me. But then, I'm a writer. I can create/synthesize dialogue in my mind rather well.
