If I didn't get hit by car 4 yrs ago sustaining life long pain from severe injuries or I at least didn't have to work with said injuries I would not drink but because I can't get pain pills or disability and my job is horrible as a steward at a large hotel/restaurant/bar/resort/spa, on the ocean In new jersey I must drink after work in order to guarantee I return to work 5 days a week. Alcohol is a master coping tool. Without it, I don't know what I would do. Secret is you need to stop after 6, 5.9percent cheap beers and no drinking b4 work or during. I get relief and then sleep to do it all over again. When I was unemployed 5 months ago for years after car hitting me as a pedestrian I didn't drink a drop for over 3 yrs. Thank the lord who does not exist anyways for beer, just avoid the hard stuff and hangovers defeat the purpose kinda like cooking a steak well done.. 😮
Update: On October 18th 2022 Paul Flores was found guilty of murdering Kristin Smart and was sentenced on March 10th 2023 to 25 years to life in prison. A separate jury acquitted his father Ruben Flores of "accessory after the fact".
