I seriously want that to come back:( I was too young to actually listen to the music and now I'm listening to songs from years ago because I love it so much
I feel he hasn't put in the time to take care of his voice like Matt Bellamy has. Matt's voice has matured and Jared's has faded. He's gained some vibrato but you can tell it hits different when you're not super famous like he became.
Now at the VMAs we have Miley singing about how she smokes weed and loves peace. Where's the diversity we used to have at VMA performances. It's like they cater to only hip hop, R&B, and pop, and nothing else
+Aidan Hauver uuuuuhmmmm. May I object that, at the time this happened, most people complained that, before, VMA used to have artists like Nirvana?... I'm just saying this name, but we all know there are dozens, and they are all much more impressive than 30STM are… and I'm a huge fan. But, honestly, if we sail on the nostalgic wave… well… 30STM are part of the same period we are currently living in. They surely did not help to raise the bar, sorry. I don't like the actual scene but others do, clearly. It's their time, let them enjoy whatever is that they enjoy. Last time Jared made a public performance with the band at Ellen DeGeneres, he was embarrassing, by the way. You cannot go on VMA with that kind of stuff, really. There's nothing to complain, here. This is not Axl Rose nor Layne Staley, it's not Manson (THAT one was impressive)…. it's nothing, in fact. Just a band that a lot of people, me included, love a lot. But not the kind of band you can use to complain about other artists, sorry.
+Aidan Hauver don't know if it's more frustrating reading about the difference in music over and over again or the difference in music ... xD We know,we all heard it a million times, stop complaining and listen to what you want, you have internet, don't you?
The most recent live performance of "The Kill" i found was 2018's and it's such a difference in stage presence as well as energy. He sounds bored of this song like it doesn't have the same energy as back in the days but it's also understandable since he's grown so much since then.
Back when MTV awards allowed nice music to be played and there wasn't auto tune in every single performance (*cough* thank you Will.I.Am for making it so goddamn undeniable*cough*)... I was 7 years old and a die-hard Little Mermaid fan back then so...yeah... great timing
For all you people bitching about him wearing a military jacket: so go petition for Military surplus stores to be closed if you feel that these uniforms should not be available to the general public, because that is most likely where he got it. Some people do wear Military stuff out of respect and recognition of those who fought. Why don't you try asking people who do?
he's honestly one of the most talented people in Hollywood. He's a great Actor and great musician but I think Hollywood did something to him around the mid 2000's maybe hes lost in the sauce or something but his talent is undeniable
I don't understand these comments saying that the crowd is "dead." I call this crowd friggn' intelligent. I go to live concerts to hear the band perform; not to hear the crowd drowning them out or singing for them. People need to just shut up and listen to the song, unless strictly told to make some noise by the band itself.
Arvid Sandberg I've been to multiple. I will dance, but I won't sing, unless the artist pauses to let the crowd fill in. Why would I spend money to hear untalented people sing over an actually talented person? I'm not stupid; I'm content. The difference between me and you is that you HAVE to scream and shout to have fun, because your discontent with shutting your mouth and listening. You're the obnoxious guy behind me belting at the top of your lungs, spit flying over my shoulder, detracting from MY experience by cutting out the very person we came to listen to, and I'm the one dancing to the sick music and listening to the musical genius work his magic.
+Oculi Corvus I actually agree with you. I went to a rock concert where people were getting crazy and were yelling over the bands. I went to a Polyphia concert in the beginning of the year, and the crowd was having a good time, but they respected the band and it was so much more enjoyable that way. Certain songs should captivate the audience and they should be kept silent. A band will tell you when to scream, but other that that people should respect others and be silent so that everyone can enjoy the music.
Jesus he's beautiful....great voice too!! The jacket...the hair...the makeup...everything reminds me MCR. Am i the only one! ?. when it was actually ok do a litlle bit of screamo anywhere on MTV
Okay I've been reading the comment section ._. First of all, I don't see what's wrong with wearing the suit, I respect marines and what they do for our country, but it's just a stage uniform, he didn't earn anything. Plus MCR's Gerard Way wore a uniform in The Ghost Of You music video. Secondly, the reason his voice sounds different from the album is because he lowered his voice an octave or something so he didn't hurt his voice singing live, in the studio he gives it everything he has. Sooo yeah
