3:40 I don't think they meant you can't play the same character They meant you can't choose a character at the same time anymore like in the old games they render the characters on real time into the map so that would cause alot of lag I have a feeling it's just one at a time for selections
Honestly I have high hopes for this game, not only does it look amazing but the potential it has to bring to the audience. I think this can open up to a wider range in the community with new people enjoying the series. I only hope they keep up the good work.
i love how u pick a stage. then pick the chars on the stage. removing the load time :O that shit is so smart. and its cuz of the unreal engine i think. the game loads map with all chars at once. before u picked the chars. then the map. and had to wait a minute or two for the map to load. also you forgot the custom matches u can make. u can make ur dream what ifs. but u can SHARE it with i think steam workshops. or custom codes. and send it to friends and such.
You left out the premium collector edition. That's the one i pre-ordered and it does say early access and comes with a lot more stuff. Just pointing that out.
About local mode with 2 players issue, if the issue is only the FPS drops on other destructible maps, then they could just use AMD FSR to make it work on lower resolution and upscale it with FSR, that could be the fix for the FPS issues. Even now they could use FSR 3 to make additional frames, it will add some small latency but it's better than not having to play localy with firend on all the maps. SInce we are also getting the game on PC, then it kind of su*k to be blocked on PC just because of console limitation. I hope it's not their engine limitation. About energy problem with dashes, I think the base energy regeneration should be faster. In my opinion also with each stronger transformation the regeneration should be slower, to kind of balance the game. Just like Goku said that SSJ3 transformation is hard to keep for long it cost a lot of energy, so I don't understand why all Dragon Ball games allow you to keep SSJ3 transformation without any cost of energy. Locking that character behind a pre order su *ks, because we don't have Demo to try the game, so I don;t know if I want to buy the game, because I'm not sure how it is going to play, since it's a fighting game, it's realy important for fighting mechanics to be very good. Even one broken mechanic that is random or doesn't have any skill sense can make the game realy bad.
On one hand it's nice to have local multiplayer, but having only one stage given me an impression that it will be a half-assed addition like it was in Xenoverse 2. I guess it's more important to have all the features like rule/attack/stat customization than having all stages. Nonetheless, I'm pretty sure that Series X and PS5 are more than capable - they handle way more demanding games in split screen. Also, having dash that costs energy gives me flashbacks of that shitty stamina system from Xenoverse, where you rely on a meter rather than your skill. I hope evading won't work like that, because it broke PVP for me in Xeno 2 - it felt like RPG rather than fighting game
That would suck playing on one stage. For that I’ll just play the one for the ps2. Me and buddies could play that for hours just randomized fighters and stages making every fight different from the last. I think game developers just forgot about local multiplayer.
@@meccaruiz4058 yeah I'm pretty sure they're just lazy. The jump in console power from PS2 is way bigger than the jump in graphics/details of the game. If they're really worried about Series S performance, they could put a 30 fps cap on split screen on that console. Some games (like Baldur's Gate 3) even disable split screen on Series S since it can't handle it. No point in holding back more powerful hardware
Couch co-op meaning you can play with a friend in the same room aka splint screen as you not online it’s only one map the hyperbolic time chamber but it’s better then not having split screen 😂😂😂
Has anyone bothered to pause and look at the dialog for the game? Thankfully it looks less...bare bones than in previous titles? I still doubt they're allowed to curse like in Kai Uncut but the dub still seems a bit more mature for this title.
Eh it's a little disingenuous to claim that the transformations are unique characters with their own playstyles. All the characters (regardless of transformation) play so similarly to one another that it you know how to play one character, you can play them all. That accessibility is a part of the game's charm, but it's also the reason why the scant community behind the BT3 competitive scene considers only a handful of characters above the rest, as they just do the same thing as other characters, just better. They're not exactly unique per se, like for example Blueku and UI Goku are in DBFZ
Ppl abuse that ... transform mid fight in previous games breaks the other persons guard n if ur already at max ki u can easily do ultimate so ppl abuse that
Now now let's wait till it drops before we just go downing the game. If the speculation is true and it's 164 at launch, there's no reason to believe they won't drop more fighters through dlc. Hell XV2 is still dropping content damn near a decade after the release.
@@austinellison1987 I'm not waiting a decade for what came with the game day one 20 years ago. It's very unlikely that they will have hundreds of characters like BT3
@aroccoification I mean it's understandable with the way the graphics and other aspects of the game have improved that they may have to lessen the amount of characters at launch I think that's key to make sure it feels like the old games but stands alone as well and can be distinguished from the old games. Characters can always be added of course I'd love more but I'd rather the focus be on gameplay etc. first. To each there own though
@@austinellison1987 excuses excuses. Tenkaichi 3 had good graphics for the time and even online multiplayer. No dlc just hundreds of characters That's an issue with the industry not the game though. I hope that with dlc we'll eventually have more characters than Tenkaichi 3 especially since with mods I've already been using all the super characters, broly and the superhero characters Hopefully this game can live up to that after a couple years of dlc
@aroccoification prolly won't take too long to add up especially if they drop multiple fighters in a pack 3 or 5 idk and yea I mean it's lacking in characters but I'm hyped for it
Better the game mechanics for xv2 is boring some people like it i know that but the it’s boring and the big problem i cant transform to ssg or ssb in goku? Really? And its just a better dlc of xv1
@@YSL-7 bruh. Everything in Xenoverse 2 is better than Sparking Zero. Visuals, gameplay, details, story, everything. Sparking Zero looks really lazy and unambitious.
@@harrisoncora4259 as far as i can tell xv2 its just an update for xv1 sz is much better with everything animation movement combat everything its just the game that everything we want
