The man she calls father knew she was mentally challenged therefore an easy target. Animals in the wild treat their offspring better than some human beings. People had to know that man was messing with her and NOBODY stepped in to save her. This is pitiful. Being mentally delayed along with a sexual abuser will forever traumatize her. This is actually a lot more common then people think. It's just not talked about. I used to think my situation was 1 in a million and that I should forever keep it hidden out of shame because I never heard of these things happening before. I wasn't abused by my father though, my dad was a good man. I was abused by my blood related brother. Everyday for many years. It messes you up for life in more ways you can imagine. But I also just want people to realize that we are just normal folks that didn't choose to have horrible things happen to us. We are not "indifferent" and you probably came across us multiple times before and never even known. I just don't like when people make me feel as if I'm different for what happened to me or pick me apart like an artifact in a museum. I have done well in my life so far and I won't let my past predict my future. And hate when people say things like "they were doomed from the beginning!" "They never had a chance!" That's honestly crazy to me that people say those types of things. That's why very few people know about my past. She is extremely brave to come out and tell her truth. You just did and most kids in America boys and girls have been raped or molested by their father,brother, cousin, uncle, aunt, mother, sister, grandmother, grandfather or some close family member but if you don't speak on it and if parents and other adults keep it quiet and don't hold these people accountable it will keep happening. You need to educate yourself more on victims of sexual abuse. I have several gay friends that told me they were sexually assaulted by their own fathers, mothers bf and men close to them at a very young age and the abuse went on so long that they all admitted to enjoying it. It’s common for that to happen so please don’t judge. Most people don’t get the professional help they need to understand why they start enjoying the sexual abuse. Sexual abuse can also change one’s sexuality, that’s common. It’s sad that you don’t have the mental capacity to understand that sexual abuse victims goes through a lot mentally that they don’t understand.
As a foster parent I can tell you this happens everyday all day to kids. It happens so much to these kids they think it's normal. This is sad and I don't know her personally but what I can tell you is this happens every single day even in 2023. If she's able to get her daughter's saliva, she can upload it to Ancestry which will actually let her know if they are both parent/sibling relationship. The amount of DNA and their message will let them know that they are descendants with the same ancestors. Instead of maternal line and maternal line being non related you can distinguish between each side. But since they share the exact DNA from grandmother, mother, daughter, father/grandfather would all be the same folks. I hope she can get herself and daughter tested.
