30 Years Old Water Pump Restoration Video
After seeing this motor, it brings back memories of my childhood with my grand father. I helped my grand father to set up it. I was waiting for the signal from my grandfather to turn on/off. And wait to see if there's water coming up or not. One day it was no longer working. My grand father bought new one to replace it. I didn't know It can be fix like this. It must be good if my grand father know that I can make it works again. But he passed away 10 year olds. I really miss him.

Seems it does work. You should have media blasted the fuse holder as well. Lots of questionable material on the fuse holder yet. They even make new one like that yet. And now that you have it working, try to see how high it can pump water. Extend the outlet tube higher to see how much it can push. Could be another video all in itself. Thumbs Up!

Gary Mucher usually jet pumps like that can’t lift above 25 feet, and being 30 years old i highly doubt it’ll lift much higher then what his test rig is

For as good a job as you did restoring the pump, I am surprised that you didn't do more for some of the electronic components. I would have made sure to remove all the rusty area's and replaced what was easily replaceable.

It is easy to make it. I made it from 12 DC motor, 12V dc power adaptor, PVC holder, Brake cable fixing bolt and a jar.

Не могу найти сальник нужного диаметра

Не претендую на капитана очевидность, но мне как-то раз был тоже нужен нетипичный сальник. Я все промерял - внутренний, внешний диаметры и так и ввёл в гугл сальник 25x17 . Попробуйте картинки открыть по своему запросу - может прямо ваш сальник найдёте. Или на али поискать по этим же параметрам. Мне подошёл какой-то не то от стиральной, не то от посудомоечной машины и стоил 60р.
