Shoutout to all the other firearm RU-vidrs out there that I spend hours on end watching! Without you guys paving the way, there would be no blueprint for guys like me just getting started!

Nice!! There's something about those high tier builds that you finally finish in 300AAC

Yessir!! I love this thing so much! It's such a fun, smooth, flat shooting rifle. And the caliber is badass I already want to build another haha.

IM also running mailbox pistol optic on my 11.5 KAC, Steiner MPS. I love it, very clear fast target acquisition and lightweight

Dam we really take a railing for these KAC uppers lol sick build, looks like it shoots super smooth.
@TylersGuns
@TylersGuns 3 месяца назад
Thank you! 🙏🏻 Yes, it does shoot very smoothly after some messing around with springs and buffer weights. I think I got it just right for what I'm looking for. The KAC stuff is certainly not cheap, but for me, I was after it for the novelty. There are definitely cheaper options out there that do the same thing.

That’s a bad little rig! I’m about to assemble one with an Aero receiver/handguard set with a Ballistic Advantage 8.3” barrel and AB Suppressor Raptor 8 tucked into the handguard. Everything is tan so it’ll be my “300 BrownOut” truck gun haha!

I’m trying to decide on a lower to be my go to lower but can’t decide on a Radian ADAC or ADM or a Knights if I can ever find one when I have the money lol it never happens in unison
@TylersGuns
@TylersGuns Месяц назад
@christopherkey3488 Haha yea that never works out like that when you're ready to buy! The Radian is absolutely killer. It's not for everyone, but I happen to love it. Looks, functionality, price, all of it! The KAC is sick but expensive as hell and hard to get. ADM, I haven't tried out or looked at yet.
@christopherkey3488
@christopherkey3488 Месяц назад
@@TylersGuns I’m a lefty shooter so the ambi is something I value. The Radian is definitely a looker, and the KAC has that rarity that makes it appealing along with the reputation of the brand itself. An SR-30 marked lower would be so cool and snobby lol but I would settle for an SR-15 for sure. I like the controls on the adm because you can do a more traditional “hk slap” to send the bolt home on the right side for an open bolt reload. You can still slap that bad girl with the Radian/KAC style bolt release but it’s more of a pat lol
@TylersGuns
@TylersGuns Месяц назад
@@christopherkey3488 KAC you can't beat for the novelty factor especially an SR-30 lower. I'm not sure what would be the best for lefty but I would say you can always try it out and then sell it if you don't like it! For any of them. I do that all the time with accessories and even lowers or uppers.
@Citizendefenseindustry
@Citizendefenseindustry Месяц назад
if I were you I'd get the griffin armament mk2 it's a direct copy of the adm lower except it's 200 bucks. it's a real true ambi lower. griffin is the one that designed the adm lower supposedly so now they make their own in forged. it's machined beautifully and is just an awesome but very affordable true ambi lower. you can't go wrong.

I recently purchased the Radical Defense LS3Ti. Very disapointed- first, they outright LIE about the weight, RD advertises the LS3Ti at 8.6 oz, in reality, it's 10.9 oz. This is with NO attachments. This is 27% heavier than marketed. I've called them, so far they won't acknowledge the deception. Next, the reduced back pressure jets are configured to spin the silencer COUNTERCLOCKWISE, so on my direct thread mount, every time I fire, the can is trying to UNSCREW itself! This happened to me after only 7 rounds, I had to keep tightening it, very annoying. It is quiet and well made, but poorly designed and the marketing is outright fraud.
@TylersGuns
@TylersGuns 3 месяца назад
I have not weighed mine yet to know whether it's overweight. Personally, for me, the weight wasn't a concern given that I chose the 282 version based on its full auto rating over having to worry about a schedule of fire with a Ti can. I can definitely see it being frustrating though given you likely chose it based on the advertised weight. I will say I did notice the port direction. But on my suppressor, I have not once had it come loose, which I'm at about 500 rds. I'm definitely not defending them, and if you're unhappy with the product, I would get in contact with someone. For me, I just looked for durability and sound suppression with a reduced back pressure design. And their cans checked all those boxes, and also at a reasonable price point.

Also, just for reference, I am using a Rearden muzzle device and hub mount on the CS3. If you continue to have the issue of it backing off, I would maybe give them a try if you haven't already.
@Fred-lu5mp
@Fred-lu5mp 3 месяца назад
@@TylersGuns Great suggestions, thanks, but I was specifically looking for the lightest weight setup. So I am using a Ti direct thread mount. If they would have just made the vents turn the can clockwise, it would never be an issue. As to the marketing fraud, that is inexcusable. The steel version you have is probably advertised correctly, but for some reason they keep lying about the weight of the Ti silencer. I have been in contact with their COO for over a week and they still list the can at 8.6 oz on their website!

@TylersGuns
@TylersGuns 3 месяца назад
@Fred-lu5mp I totally get it man, you could try out the Rearden Direct thread mount. And not to insult your intelligence if you already know, because I did not know this until I bought the Rearden. Make sure you have the right type of mount, whether it be a taper or square. I almost bought a taper mount for mine, not knowing there was a difference, but my gun store guys let me know that I needed the square style mount. If you don't have the correct taper that could be another reason it's backing off aside from the ports on the suppressor being directed wrong.
