Haven’t tried the 120s yet but I have used the 115 tac-tx with amazing results on game. Furthest shot was about 200 yards with good bullet expansion. I loaded them up with H110 as well and was able to achieve 2380 fps with no issues out of a 16” barrel.
Merry Christmas and a late congrats on the little one showing up soon. Loaded up the 110's this summer for my son's first deer season. H110 was the best in my RARR. Would've liked tried some 120's but never found any in time but never the less he dropped a doe at 110 yards. Never moved.
I am not afforded the luxury of the back deck shooting bench. But I am a woods guy and I am hunter/shooter and I am a Baptist(pastor). So I am going to count myself a backwoods Baptist 😁.

I ended up taking a nice 8 pointer. Had a very nice 10 out about 110 yards on the other side of the creek but couldn’t get a shot at it. I’d sat for 3 hours. Hadn’t seen much and took a little walk and jumped my 8 up and got a 40 yd shot on him. Already enjoyed some roast and deer veg soup. Merry Christmas
Hello, I was just loading these bullets the other day with a lee seating die as well and i would say about a quarter of them the black tip would get stuck in the die and rip right out of the bullet. Did you have any issues like that? Have a good day.
Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah, I felt it was just luck. Some stuck in there; others did not. It was frustrating because when they would get stuck I would have to take the die apart to get it out and it would always change my COAL by a little every time I had to do that. I have the 110 gr and have a few loads with Lil gun. Hopefully they shoot. If they are any good it would be great for the kids in regards to recoil. I have a CVA cascade 300 blk bolt threaded with suppressor. Next I plan on trying some subsonic loads but I don't know about using those for hunting?
Im about to start loading some of these as well but im trying to figure out what seating die i should get so it doesnt mess up the tips. Any suggestions?
